Its a good idea and gives positive impression to the visa officer of your genuine/continued relationship. If you are a PR you should not stay outside for more than a couple of weeks while the application is in process. If you are a citizen, then staying outside Canada is not a problem but you will be asked to provide proof of intent to return to Canada in case u decide to stay in Pak during the whole process.

In my case, my husband visited me 7 months after the wedding which was 5 months after the application submission. He came for 3-4 weeks and after he went back to Canada, we submitted his visit proof( tickets, boarding passes, lots and lots of pics of us during our stay, receipts etc) voluntarily to the london visa office. We also noticed in the gcms notes that the visa officer had written that "Sponsor recently visited Pakistan. Satisfied that sponsor is resident in Canada. Eligibility passed" So its all positive as long as you do it correctly and let them know.

I did the same. i got married in May 2017 and visited my wife again for 4 weeks from mid Sept to Mid Oct 2017. I even took my mother and sister with me on my 2nd visit and we all 4 stayed together but in 2 different room I am Canadian Citizen too since last 20 years approx. Doing a good job here. Pay lots of income tax every year. So upon my return, i had sent all the proof of my 2nd visit to her. 25 plus Pics taken at different time intervals, places, family get together, movies tickets, Boarding passes, copies of Passport showing entry and exit stamps, flight tickets. I also gifted her a Gold Ring at her house and I have sent the receipt and Pics of that as well.
Also i have added her as my Dependent to all my work Medical and Dental plans and Beneficiary in my Life Insurance Plans like RRSP etc. Also sent the proof of my monthly financial support to her though her father asking me not to send anymore money as they are ok what i have already sent to her.
All documents mailed and email to LVO Tues Nov 14th 2017 but so far LVO hasn't confirmed if they have received these docs or updated her file.
which is normal as they never asked me to send these 2nd visit docs i sent these voluntarily. hmnnnn

PFL will say PFL on GCKey as well. Our MP rep said all additional docs are PFL, I think she is wrong. Any way it will say we they think the marriage is not genuine and are giving us a last chance to prove the genuineness of our marriage before they reject our application.

very scary means they even don't call for an interview and reject an application if even last chance docs won't satisfy the VO?

Hi All.

The TRV I applied for my wife is refused on grounds that not strong ties to back home, VO thinks the PA will not return to Pak.

Anyway. Thanks for the help, we tried our best. Now hoping for PR app to give some good news soon.

feel sorry for you but that was expected. In this forum it is clearly mentioned that 99.99% of TRV rejected.

Just checked the online status, theres a new line when i click in process. It says:

We sent you correspondence on July 13, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I did send the documents when asked by Mississauga office. The status using GC Key says: We do not need additional documents.
My file was transferred to LVO on Aug 03.

Does any one know what that means?

Hi every one today my status changed to decision made after pre arival lettr so how long it will take to PPR

Congratulations. No idea though about how long it will take for PPR. I am waiting for DM, after the receipt of pre-arrival letter. Anxiously.

How long it has been since you got the pre-arrival letter ?

yes agree. They can issue a temporary visit visa of 6-12 months to PA with some strict conditions of going back on or before expiry of visit visa with NO condition at all it will be extended and if PA doesn't leave Canada on expiry date, his / her whole immigration process will be rejected etc. with this, at least PA and Sponsor can live together for some time and PA can go backhome any time or at the time of her / his Visit visa expiry

Hi thanks I just received passport request today Alhamdolillah but I am little bit confused they ask for updated appex A, in which my wife is sponsor and native language was urdu in her form 4 yrs back and my native language is punjabi and we both are cousins so we should keep native language same or as per forms secondly my non accompanying child didn’t get medical so I signed declaration now I need to put detail of my wife and non accompanying child in table or not plz help
