Thanks for sharing. I feel your pain. You have a very similar timeline as mine. Do you know why (or if yours too) Ecas shows file is in process when it still awaits initial review? And Sponsor side says DM.
Our medical also expires in November. They have to start working on our files and send remed request right?

Yep... It says in process on the ecas and our med expires in Nov as well... Insha Allah we may hear something soon insha Allah ... Just praying hard

So I didn't get any reply to my urgent email. Surprise surprise. I wonder if I should just keep trying intermittently? I think I read somewhere that CSEs don't show up in GCMS notes but the emails you send do get mentioned, even if they don't reply to you. I guess that would be good, if anything, as long as you don't fire them emails everyday (then you'll probably just get added to their spam list).

I'm supposed to get my notes tomorrow or Monday at the latest. Totally going to my MP if I don't get them.

Hi there,

No, you're not allowed to take cell phones in. They will ask you to drop off your phone at the Enclave* before you hit the embassy. It's kind of like a locker where you keep your phone and they give you a confirmation. Once you're back at the Enclave, you pick up your phone.

*You take your car up to the Enclave and park there. Then go into the center where you'll have to either get a shuttle bus (which runs hourly), and makes a bunch of stops before getting to the Embassy. Or get a semi-private air conditioned car (cost 1,000 rupees or less), which takes you and one other applicant directly to the Embassy. It runs frequently. My suggestion is to get the semi-private car as you'll be so tensed and agitated, that you'd want everything to be smooth and fuss free. On the way back, you can get the shuttle bus (or which ever you spot first on the road!). Make sure to keep your orange slip handy. Which they give you at the time you book shuttle/car.

cic asking for marriage certificate. we only have the nikkahnama made. are they the same thing and thwy arw just asking us to resubmit nikkahnama or is marriage certificate a different document. if so, and we dont have it made, what should we do?? pls help

Dear, marriage certificate is given by the gov of Pakistan on the basis of legal Nikkah Nama, how you got marriage certificate without Nikkah Nama? LVO asked and I provided both of the documents. You must proivde Urdu Nikkah Nama as well as English one.

Nah.. both are different. Marriage certificate is issued by Nadra.
