I wonder why they haven't sent the medical request yet. Perhaps after the LVO starts working on it, then.

I think at Mississauga at the moment, I have been told by other members, there is a backlog. Hopefully it's cleared up soon. So very likely they will get LVO to send medical request. My husband got a request from Mississauga before they sent it off to LVO. Fingers crossed and hopefully everyone's file moves along smoothly. All the best

There are a few applicants that are stuck despite any identifiable concerns. It depends on the visa officer and your luck. June, july and august applicants are also stuck like me, though we have sponsored our wife. Keep faith, we all will get through soon inshaAllah.
Just had an update on CIC account yesterday, background checks has started, lets see how long it takes.

I was going through some old posts on this forum and I found some people discussing some document(counterfoil) that you get on myCIC after you submit your passport for visa. Does anyone know if there is any such document that CIC send us and if so what is the use of it?

I don't know if anyone has answered it yet, but my understanding is that, counterfoil is the visa on passport which is required for initial travel to Canada.

Asalamoalikum! i got medical request on 30th of may but i mail was in my junk folder today i checked that...and it has to b done till 30th of june.how can they give me appointment in this short time...plz help ...and do i have to mail them the result within that time or just have to b present at dr for medical till 30th.

Finally able to connect the IRCC help line after 4 tries and 27 minutes of wait time..
