So now that VFS Karachi is not providing the photo facility anymore, does anyone know a proper photographer in Karachi who can take the photos as per the CIC requirements and stamp as well properly? People with good experience with any photographers in Karachi, Please share their names or addresses?

Applied for my husband in April 2017
Sponsorship Application was approved in April
Additional documents were requested in May 2017 updated them within a day or two (background check, passport size photo and police check)
Got a medical a request in May 2017 done and passed

did you guys order notes on your file to get any insights? send additional documents which some people swear by? I am so sorry you both are stuck in limbo 19 months hanging in total abyss can be so brutal. Wish you both all the luck needed to get through this.

We had ordered notes but as far is security checks are concerned, nothing gets visible on notes.. Notes are helpful for getting insights of your eligibility and we have passed that Alhamdulillah 8 or 9 months ago...after that nothing is clear as they say external agencies are involved

I've heard background checks are faster for PAs who have been to the UK or US in the recent past. not sure if there is any truth to it.

If you see stats, 90 % approved cases are sponsoring wife cases. Sponsoring husband cases are taking more time like in September none of husband case is approved yet.

I did the math its about 66% of cases from 2016 are wife PA. Women were also 60% of the PA, of all the ones that mentioned who was sponsoring whom. So to be fair Women are being sponsored more than men, but their cases do seem to be going more smoothly. Most cases that are stuck in limbo are second marriages, I found.

I am november applicant and me and my spouse had only 9 days of cohabiting after our marriage and my case is already done. So, don't worry regarding such low number of days as far as you can satisfy visa officer about your relationship

Hi All, hope everyone is fine and doing well. I am in Canada on PR for more than a year. I want to invite my parents from Pakistan on visit visa, I know it is not a right place to post this but i did try to find the right forum but i could not find the right updated forum for this and i found this forum updated.
