Feb and early march they slept thru
Backlogs being cleared.
June-july applicants heard back..
August applicants only one doc request. No news from others.
Sept peeps notes suggest 0 activity on pilot project files.

In one word short, NOTHING significant and i dont see any work happening on our files anytime soon either. :'(

Hello Guuys!
I Have applied for Spousal Sponsorship in Dec 2016 and CIC has asked me for further documents like NIkkahnama and other related documents which I have already sent. However they have returned my application saying that they need NikkahNama Certified Copy, Marriage Certificate Certified Copy and my 2 photographs.

I don't understand, I have already provided 9 photos of mine and all the documents.

Kindly advise as it is taking much longer then I expected.

Maybe u have sent the photos in wrong size? But they don't send the application back unless u missed signatures or missed any form :

Can you share when did you apply?

I think you should get everything again and send it out ASAP. Police certificates are usually valid for 3-6 months. I have a gut feeling that they will issue the visa now inshAllah Try to pay the fees during their working hours. sometimes the website is closed for daily maintenance.

Good, Thank you for updating.

So I have an issue right now and would really appreciate all members comments and experienced advice. My wife is the sponsor and she just lost her job as the company she was working for has closed down. After reading about "Maddy..." interview and knowing through notes that lvo is concerned about our intent to return to Canada, we have decided that my wife will settle in Toronto and find work there while I work in Pakistan and wait for the visa.

Now we are planning for her return in June 2017. Will it be an issue for us as sponsor lost her job?? She will find a job after reaching there but for next 3 months or so, she will be unemployed. I make good income and can/will support her for next few months. She'll have 8000$ with her and already has 7000$ in her Canadian bank accounts. Will it be an issue? will she be considered ineligible? Plz comment members.

DO THEY RETURN ALL ORIGINALS AFTER CASE IS PROCESSED..

They are looking for Urdu Nikkah nama which has a nikkah registrar seal/stamp on it.. You will need to also get that Urdu Nikkha nama TRANSLATED by notary public/certified translator into English and also get it attested from them. Send over originals in this case.
Sometimes people have a original English nikkah nama which they sign at the time of marriage..if you have that then send that original English one over.
Nadra certificates which u sent earlier are not sufficient for LVO
Get the police certificates ready again and send the original ones as asked. You cannot avoid it since this has been asked by LVO. IF these police certificates are not in English u will need to get them translated from notary public or any certified translators in UAE/Pak and get them attested as well.
RPRF..hmm really cannot help there much since my sponsor paid the fee upfront. But yes this is a gud sign and shows that LVO is most likely satisfied with ur relationship.

I have no idea, thats what I sent before. How long did it take for you to get the request for PR photos. My application is still in a initial stage in Mississauga since 3 months.

I don't know but I sent the passport size photographs which we normally send it for passports. Is it a possibility that those photos are 6 months older? How can they actually check that?
