As a permanent resident sponsor, what is the maximum number of days you can be outside of Canada while the sponsorship application is in process?

I am a Canadian citizen male and recently applied for my wife. I am a 2016 (Sep) applicant.
My file is in London and it has been almost 6 months (as of now Feb 2017) already.
I received an email on Dec 2016 saying that I was missing a Nikah nama translation (notarized version) but haven't heard anything back ever since other than the auto reply saying that "your enquiry has been received". I replied to the email back within a week with the notarized document attached.
Was curious if anyone here's a 2016 applicant and how's the process going so far.
Would appreciate the reply ASAP.

I have a suggestion, its up to you what you do. LVO is already looking into May/June apps now, they might finalize your application in the next few days. Sending vol. proof may cause delay in final decision. Would suggest you to wait some more.

Hello,

I am also a Sep applicant and we haven't heard from cic after Sponsor Approval in Sep. As per feedback from different applicants, it seems that LVO is working on May/June 2016 applicants at the moment and its been slower than usual. So us Sep applicants would have to wait. Did you order notes yet?

1- Agar interview recommended ho to kiya mycic per status update hota hay iss baray main?

2- Ham nay jabsay requested documents send kiye hain LVO, mycic per "document Provided" hi status hay and it never changed to "document received". Kiya iska matlab hay k ye documents theek nahi ya LVO nay abi tk check hi nahi kiye documents?

3- Hmara background status Oct 2016 say hi "in progress" hay but there is no update. Is it in progress by mistake? :-X

I recommend sending Nikka Nama (Urdu + English Translation) notarized copies through registered mail since email may not be included in your physical file, unless they specify sending document electronically (which means through CIC online portal).

"Dear AMMARA SALEEM:
The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform the London office immediately by email to: LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation."

Is it a PPR?
