Good wishes. IA you will hear good news soon. You have a common child that proves your relationship to be legit. They had concern that you didn't visit for long time. The interview was to address that concern. I don't think CIC will delay your case any further.

By the way, why didn't you order notes to know what is going on with your file. Many people know the visa officers concern by ordering GCMS notes and satisfy visa officers concern accordingly. Forum has been very helpful for me to make appropriate and timely actions.

Hi guys I got a message in myCIC account today they asked us to fill (IMM 5669) background check form and also for proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination is that a good sign ?

Our medical does not expire till Feb 2017 so we are thinking to send them a copy of our previous medical

Any suggestions

yeah, that's a good sign. i'm fairly certain you've passed eligibility and that your interview has been waived.

if they haven't asked you to do another medical, then yes, a copy of your previous medical is probably what they're looking for.

It means they are working on your file . Nothing to worry about its a document request for background checks .

Anyone who hasn't received their documents back. I emailed LVO but no response. I tried for MP office twice as they were busy so couldn't hold. Called number which snowy told but they said there is no record. LVO email address is "ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca" or do i have to email on different address
Please what should I do now, everything is completed, got passport back but documents not yet returned.

2nd question
Date of expiry is the one which is stamped on passport, they extended for month. Is it possible ?

I need help in filling Appendix A. I am the principal applicant living in UAE & while my son who is dependent in application is in Canada right now. I have to put information of both of us details in Appendix A while submitting the passport to VFS UAE.
or i have to send my son's passport to Ottawa office ?
Please guide me .
