Hi Guys,

Congrats on all those getting their PRs! I hope everyone else hears good news soon too.

I have a question. My husband wants to send my application by tomorrow. He lives in Calgary. However he is going to Toronto for a week. He may not have enough time to submit the application before he leaves. Is it possible for him to send the application from Toronto? We just want to do it ASAP which is why I'd rather not wait till he comes back from Toronto.

Exactly you have to post it to CPC Mississauga. Can do that from anywhere.

Dear Snowy As per my experience you need to provide a valid postal address within Canada for return of these originals. We have been reminding for the return on postal address in Pakistan but no response was provided. At last once the applicant was moving to Canada , request for the return withing Canada was made and the documents were received back within 10 days time. Probably, original documents are retained in Mississauga Office and only scanned copies sent to London Office.

Passport is stamped and is ready to be collected. Just being paranoid about original documents now. :-\ has anyone got theirs back recently?!

MyCIC was updated yesterday and here is what it looks like:

Application/profile status: Closed
Review of eligibility: Passed
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: We need an additional document from the applicant (referring to PPR)
Scheduling an interview:
A background check is needed: Complete
Final decision: This application has been approved

need a clarification,

In GCMS notes its written

Proof of relationship provided: Original Marriage Certificate, married on date XX XX 2016.

There is nothing written like communication (skype, Viber, whatsapp, Facebook, emails), combined health & auto insurance, same address labels, Airline travels and stays at hotels etc etc. These things are not mentioned.

Is it same with other who ordered GCMS notes?

Yes its normal i have seen gmcs of another applicant and they wrote about marriage certificate only.
