Hello Hasan Vai,

I ask Sjgolfer about interpreter but he write me that in his interview day the visa office did not provide an interpreter. It means Thailand Canadian visa office does not give interpreter.

Regards

Farhana

Check this (extract from CIC website):

Temporary and permanent residence applications made in Canada
When to use an accredited interpreter
The use of accredited interpreters is limited to interviews that could have a significant impact on the client, such as (this list is not exhaustive)

interviews with individuals likely to be subject to a removal from Canada;
pre-removal risk assessment hearings;
interviews with victims of abuse subject to conditional permanent residence;
sponsorship interviews (e.g., marriages of convenience).
It is necessary to ensure that accredited interpreters are made available to applicants when required in the circumstances above. When a client is scheduled for an interview and requests an interpreter, the officer in charge of the file will determine whether an accredited interpreter is necessary. If the officer determines that the outcome of the interview will not have a significant impact, the client will be informed within a reasonable time period that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will not provide an interpreter. If the client still wants an interpreter, they are responsible for finding one.

IRCC must use interpreters accredited by the Immigration and Refugee Board. Local offices pay the costs.

When to use a non-accredited interpreter
Any situation that is not described above or that does not expose the client to the same degree of impact in terms of the decision does not require the presence of an accredited interpreter.

If an individual wants to use an interpreter, they must find one themselves and pay the associated costs.

The interviewing officer must assess the quality of the communication between the client and their interpreter and validate the interpreter’s impartiality with respect to the client’s statements. For more information about this, refer to Using the services of an interpreter.

Hello Hasan Vai,

I need one help from you. Do you know Thailand Canadian visa office provide an interpreter? Bangladesh Canadian visa office provide interpreter for all applicant. when I applied I did not want any interpreter for my interview but the visa office provide me an interpreter.I have not enough knowledge about Thailand Canadian visa office.

My question------------

If any applicant does not want to interpreter and in the application they do not fill the interpreter option. Later they think they need interpreter. Then how will they inform the visa office that they want interpreter for their interview.

Regards

farhana

Hi Farahana,

As per our earlier conversation, in my interview letter they asked me to get my own interpreter. I didn't take my interpreter. But on the day at the interview venue, I saw people with their family members as interpreters. I think that is allowed or i ask the person to email adn ask if he can take anyone with him.

Hello Dlink514,

Everything is depend on visa office. Now a day the interview takes time at least 17 month or less. I suggest you send the visa office your marriage proof it will easy your interview.

I know in your interview query letter the visa office mentioned that they will not accept any kind of documents but if you will not send any documents then how visa office knows your update of your relation. Not you I will suggest all applicant to send marriage proof to the visa office. Marriage proof means---

1. Communication proof ( viber, skype screen shot, watsapp, hangsout, email)
2. Money transfer receipt
3. Update photo
4. Joint bank account
5. Insurance nominee letter

Do you know the reason for the interview?. Would say just go over all the questions you can find on this forum. Inshallah everything should be fine. :)
