Do you know the reason for the interview?. Would say just go over all the questions you can find on this forum. Inshallah everything should be fine. :)
Agreed.

Each case is unique. You must find out the reasons why they scheduled interview for you and then address those issues with solid evidences and perfect answers. Prepare well before interview. Check past posts on this thread.

Good luck!

Hello

I just want to share my experience. So today suddenly I got phone call from the Canada Embassy in Singapore. He asked me some questions :

- What is your date of birth?
- What is your husband's name?
- How did the first time you meet?
- Because we met online so he asked me the details of our online meeting like how did you join into that group? who added you into that group? etc
- How do you handle the culture difference between you and your husband?
- What does your parents think when you married to foreigner?
- What will you do when you move to Canada?
- Where will you live when you move to Canada?

And in the end of that interview he told me that they will not conduct the face to face interview and he said that this interview is enough plus he said that he is satisfied with all of my answers. He also told me that I should keep checking my email around 2 weeks.

Is there anyone in the same situation like me? Getting the interview by phone call?

Honestly this is really so surprising for me. Because we thought that we would get the interview around February 2017 in the Embassy in Indonesia (that's what they told us in to my husband's email). So I really hope that this will be the real interview and I won't face another interview again :D
Even I don't get the visa yet at least I'm a bit relieve at least they still remember about our application ;D

They can use any means to follow up on information provided in your application.....some have even reported immigration officers going to people's addresses to check if they are truly residing there.

It definitely sounds positive in your case! Congratulations!!!

Agreed.

Definitely a positive sign.

Happy to see a fellow Indo/Canadian couple receiving some good news :)

Thank you! Just very quick update.

I just got notification email from the CIC website. When I checked it I got one message. They requested for my medical exam because my medical exam already expired two months ago. Then after that I got another email notification again from the CIC website and when I checked it was a letter from the embassy. In that letter its said that I have to complete the medical exam and submit police certificate and send it to the Canada Embassy in Singapore. This is the letter that I got :

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Please follow the steps below
so that we can continue processing your application.
COMPLETE A MEDICAL EXAMINATION:
 Within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter, a medical examination must be
completed by:
1. you
2. your spouse/common-law partner (if applicable)
3. each of your dependent children (if applicable)
Please follow the instructions sent to you in a separate e-mail message. When you go for
your appointment with the Panel Physician, you must bring proof of your identity
(government-issued ID card or passport).
SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Send all the documents from the list below to this office in one envelope:
 Original Good Conduct Certificate (or Certificate of No Criminal Record) from the
police authorities of INDONESIA where you, your spouse/common-law partner, and
each of your dependent children who is 18 years of age and older, have resided for a
period of six months or more since turning 18.
There may be more than one type of police certificate available in each country. To find
out which certificate(s) you need and how to apply for them, visit the CIC Web site:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
If you do not provide the correct type of police certificate, the processing of your
application will be delayed. Police certificates are valid for one year from the date of
issue. If you have already submitted a police certificate which is still valid, you do not
need to submit a new one.
Immigration Section - Service de I'Immigration
Robinson Road PO Box 845 Singapore 901645
One George Street, #11-01, Singapore 049145
 IMM 5669 Schedule A Background / Declaration form, completed with up-to-date information by you, your spouse/common-law partner, and each of your dependent children who is 18 years of age or older. Fill the form on the CIC Web site then print it:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf
You must provide complete details of your personal history and addresses since the age of 18. Do not leave any gaps. Failure to account for all time periods will delay the processing of your application.
If you are unable to comply with one or more of our requests, please provide a detailed explanation. All documents that are not in either English or French must be accompanied by a certified translation. It is your responsibility to notify this office of any change in your address, contact numbers, marital status, family configuration, or employment or educational status. We will advise you of any other requirements, but we are NOT able to respond to requests for information on the routine progress of your application.
You must comply with the above requirements within thirty days (30) from the date of this letter. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the refusal of your application.
This is a computer-generated letter which requires no signature

So I have a question regarding that letter : Do I have to submit all of the documents (police certificate and medical exam result) and pack it into one envelope and send it by mail to the Singapore Visa Office?

Thank you so much for all of your help and support!
