It means they doubt the genuineness of the marriage, which means you need to send a boatload of new proofs and probably go visit again.

For interview questions, refer to:

Waiving an interview can be done. Submit additional evidence of continue relationship (i.e. new trips together, more contact). You can also do what ImABule did which was to write person in charge of the visa office to ask to waive the interview. ImABule was successful doing so.

Hi

As htquach said, I was successful in avoiding the interview even after being placed in the interview queue. Even though the interview queue letter states that they won't accept and attach to our file anymore proofs or correspondence, I sent more anyways. Due to some other very well timed outside circumstances I was also able to come to Indonesia to live with my wife for almost 4 months. After sending the VO evidence of my relocation, I then decided to email the Program Manager of my VO directly and explain my concerns of our file, outline everything sent to the VO showing the genuineness of our marriage, and ask for a second review of our file. Two weeks later I recieved a response that he had personally reviewed our file and had found no need for an interview. So it can be done.

Good luck.

Hello ImABule,

Interview waived is difficult those applicant who do not know about it.I know you are very helpful person. I request you if you share your interview waived experience it will help many applicants. In my case I never think to send any documents to the visa office because the visa office clearly mentioned that they will not accept any marriage proof. I know in this forum everyone know that you waived your interview but the member does not know which type of documents you send visa office and how you email them. Now a day I am in Canada but I feel those applicants who get the interview query letter. Hope you will write your whole experience in this forum.

Farhana

Hello Dlink514,

Everything is depend on visa office. Now a day the interview takes time at least 17 month or less. I suggest you send the visa office your marriage proof it will easy your interview.

I know in your interview query letter the visa office mentioned that they will not accept any kind of documents but if you will not send any documents then how visa office knows your update of your relation. Not you I will suggest all applicant to send marriage proof to the visa office. Marriage proof means---

1. Communication proof ( viber, skype screen shot, watsapp, hangsout, email)
2. Money transfer receipt
3. Update photo
4. Joint bank account
5. Insurance nominee letter

Hello shery678,

In the interview day, the officer will ask you about your sponsor related question and your application story what you mentioned in your application. In the interview, there is nothing personal, the officer will ask you any type of question and may be want to see your personal message. Visa office put you in the interview because you got second marriage. I see most of the time second marriage applicant get interview letter. But if you have enough marriage proof it will easy your interview or 40% chance to waived your interview if you send additional marriage proof to the visa office.

Farhana

Hey Farhana,

When I arrived in Indonesia, I sent them my boarding passes and my return itinerary and explained that I would be living with my inlaws and my wife for just under 4 months. When my wife sponsored my visa extension I then sent the extension passport stamp, flight tickets for our planned anniversary trip, and a bunch of photos of our time together. I recieved no acknowledgement or response both times. A week later I decided to email the Program Manager directly. I do not want to post the email I sent as it contains personal information but I essentially explained the circumstances of our file and said everything that we had sent as proofs and that since filing our application we had sent more proofs 4 times. I then asked for a second review or that the interview be scheduled before I returned to Canada because I wanted to attend. Then I recieved the email response that my file had been reviewed and the case approved and interview waived. 2 days later we recieved PPR and had DM on ECAS.
