My ecas got updated into "we sent you letter on June 8. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us". Actually I still didn't receive the letter yet until now. I'm just wondering how my interview letter will say. You are so lucky because you got the interview date already in your letter. When was your interview?

The visa office sent you interview letter and you did not get it. When you fill your application form which option you prefer for your communication. Is it email or mail your home address? Here all applicants got their interview letter by email. Generally when the visa office mails someone home address in that case the applicant will receive the letter delay.

Thanks Farhana. . When are you coming to Canada. Maybe we can take the same flight . I bought my ticket to come to BD back in January because i got 50% discount on ticket. Coming in September 1st and leaving on October 5th. I booked my wife's ticket yesterday for October 5th.

If your Malaysian visa expire than you must come Bangladesh because the Malaysian visa takes 3 month but the Canadian visa office give you only 30 days for your passport submit. You must submit your passport before 30 days otherwise the visa office will refuse your application. In this situation you have to come in Bangladesh.

Hello javed120,

First when I applied for my visa I prefer my home address later I change the communication address. I prefer email address. After that the visa office all the time emails me for any correspondence purpose.

Don’t worry brother the visa office will email you for your passport request because you got your interview and re medical correspondence by email. So hopefully you will get your passport request very soon.

I choose my communication with the visa office through email. Anyway I still didn't get the physical mail yet for my interview. But I'll just be ready to get it ;D

Sorry for the late replay. My Ecas was updated 3 days after my wife got the email from CIC with the interview date. I know time to time it reverses. Some people get their Ecas updated first then get the Email and some get email first and then Ecas updated which was my case. There is 3rd case which is they really sent you a letter if you asked them your primary contact to be your house address. In this case you can expect to get the letter within 7 days usually. My wife had her interview on May 9th and requested re-medical on 17th May. she did her medical on 25th May. The clinic submitted her Medical on 30th May and her Ecas changed to DECISION MADE on 11th June.

My ticket price was $6000 and got 50% off so i paid $3000. My wife's ticket is Free. I have lots of Q miles by Qatar Airways. So I used my Q miles for her ticket. If i didn't use Q miles then it would cost $4500$ for her one way ticket. I usually fly Qatar Airways.

LOL. These are all Business Class ticket. $6000 for a return ticket to Bangladesh is normal price but i got 50% off which is really good price .I never travel Economy Class unless its a 45 minutes flight.
