Its not something new. Though most of the applicants are not that much involved in the forum but I used to hear stories when ppl from dhaka high commission used to visit PA's home unannounced. Mostly in suburbs, outside of dhaka metropolitan (Khulna, Barisal, Rajshahi and so on....). I am talking about early 2000s, back then they were going for random visits for parents/grandparents sponsorship as well as spouse sponsorship. One of our family friend used to work in the canadian high commission back then and she told us that a team of 2-3 people (1 canadian, 1-2 local) used to go and visit to do a verification. And it was always unannounced. But thankfully, recently I didnt hear anything about it for bangladeshi applicants. I guess it all depends on the case. But regardless, this is so unfair. If you have doubt in the genuineness of the relationship, give us a chance to prove. Dont just come to my house unannounced and hope to catch me red-handed as if I am a THUG!!!!!

Waiting, waiting and waiting for the passport. It passed already 1 month but still show “Under Process”. Everything is going very well. We both get our passport request very quick but it is a long time no news for our passport. I think I will mail Singapore 12 days later for my passport return purpose. Really it is frustrating Sam.

What is your opinion?

Why do you think so?

Was there any serious questions and concerns in your interview?

Have you not fully established your strong relationship with your sponsor?

If they want to refuse you why they will ask for re medical and updated forms??

Normally PPR follows DM but everything depends on VO.

Hope everything works out positively for you. Do not panick, just relax and wait patiently for the next step.

5. We sent you a letter on April 19, 2016. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

The visa office is not updating my interview correspondence.

After “Decision Made” I got my passport request within 11 days later. Nobody can say that you will get your passport request like me 11 days later everything depends on visa office. 1 month passed I am still waiting for my passport.

hi all..i am new to this forum...need some help...
i had my spouse interview at chc new delhi on 7th march 2016 and after the interview visa officer said that i am allowing you to go to canada as she was very much satisfied and asked me to go for a remedical as previous one was expired and she sent me the email for remedical request straight away... i did my remedicals on the 9th march and medicals reached chc on the 16th march as informed to me by the physicians office...... i am still waiting for my ppr ??? .....does anyone know how much time they take for ppr after remedicals and spouse interview...its been almost 3 months since my remedical reached the chc new delhi....pls replyy

My husband went to Canada federal skill migration visa. He travels India and UK. The visa office wants his 3 countries police clearance. When my husband submits 3 countries police clearance (Bangladesh, India and Uk police clearance) after 6 months later my husband got the passport request.

Today i checked my ECAS and it its changed to DECISION MADE . But no lines were updated. I still have the last message when they sent the letter for interview which was in April 13. After interview medical was requested but no additional line was added. Now Decision made and again no line was added. I am assuming passport request will be soon?
here is the messages

Thanks Farhana. . When are you coming to Canada. Maybe we can take the same flight . I bought my ticket to come to BD back in January because i got 50% discount on ticket. Coming in September 1st and leaving on October 5th. I booked my wife's ticket yesterday for October 5th.

hey farhana here sounds so excited everyone start doing packing lol,,,finaly i got my police certificate from london so everything going good .another 8 days to go for interview .i saw another forum most of them from Malaysia who submit there passport they got there visa in 7 working days im so worry because my visa will be expire on 14 july and if i renew my Malaysian visa here almost take 3 month in that case if they ask my passport i think i cannot submit .so im thinking to go Bangladesh after my interview what do you think .

My ecas got updated into "we sent you letter on June 8. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us". Actually I still didn't receive the letter yet until now. I'm just wondering how my interview letter will say. You are so lucky because you got the interview date already in your letter. When was your interview?
