She received the letter on June 2015 that she is on the list and waiting Que is 24 months. After that i kept emailing and sending them evidence. I guess they got tired of my email lol. so I will say 11 months she waited for the interview date. One other thing my wife noticed that the lady was asking her questions from my emails i sent them and GCMS notes.

Wow Thats very good news , my wife also keep sending them email and i am sending them on going relationship , also my family visit me i also send (courier ) them photo all of us together , during my family visit , money transfer slip which i do child support , pass port stamp pages of all my family , boarding passes , also my wife approch MP office in mississauga , they also call to CIC , yesterday my daughter 2nd birth day so during the birthday i was doing video call so we took some snap short so next month i am gonna send them .
hopefully i will get interview call soon inshallah

How long approximately does one have to wait after an interview for the VO to get back to you?

It depends on the Visa Officer. It could be 4-6 weeks on average, even before.

Hi Zahid,

Wow that was a vigorous interview indeed! The interviewer went out and checked for herself all messages, emails, FaceBook pages on your wife's two cell phones!! It was actually went in her favour! Also cross check matched..that's also very important. The outcome will be positive as she answered all questions correctly.

My wife had 2 phones and both had FB logged in. One was her and one was mine. So the immigration officer went through each of them, pictures. messenger, comments etc. Someone tagged me my ex picture long time ago. As you know that you cant delete a tag picture. Thats when she found out and ask my wife who is that. She told her. I donno if she did or not. Maybe they do, who knows. I filed in March 2015, She received letter that she is on Que for interview on June 2015 and got her interview May 9th 2016.

Thanks for your response! And your VO that you applied was NDVO or SVO? OR some other? WE applied in Feb 2015 file transferred to NDVO...been 15 months today no letter, no correspondence from the visa office received. Requested GCMS notes and it says recommend interview but not finalized. Don't know if we will have an interview or not but seems like you got the letter within 3months of the application filing and we still haven't heard from them that we are in the queue or anything like that. I guess will just have to wait and watch what happens.

In Canada spousal immigration visa sponsor can contact his or her city or town local PM office. In MP office there you find an Immigration section. You can go there and tell about your application condition. They will help you. Later they will inform your application condition by email.

Today I read your interview experience again there I see the immigration officer said “we will verify some more and let you know”. I think they will take your interview over phone. They will cross check you with those questions. The immigration officer will definitely ask you--------

Why your marriage is genuine?

Keep with your all financial support like money transfer receipt, bank joint account solvency letter, if you have bank DPS where your wife is your nominee then tell your wife collect bank DPS certificate from bank. In bank DPS certificate there they mention that your wife is your nominee. If you have any insurance where your wife is your nominee then request your insurance company give you’re a letter where they mention your wife is your nominee.

In this immigration process “why your marriage is genuine” is the tough question. You have to answer it mix of emotional and financially. Two things are important for this question answer one is emotion another is financial support.

When the immigration officer asks my husband why your marriage is genuine. My husband told about financial support. They lady officer want all the documents of financial support. My husband sent financial support Singapore by email. My husband sent-----------

1. Money transfer receipt ( our two years money transfer receipt)

2. My husband insurance beneficiary letter

3. Our join bank solvency letter

4. Both bank DPS nominee letter


All this Documents really help us. My husband sent it and within 4 days later I got my re medical.. Generally Fake marriage does not show this type of document.

Do not miss any call if you miss immigration officer call your result will be delay. They will call you from Ottawa. My husband told me the immigration officer call him from Ottawa. Hope you all the best.
