When you applied in your application you fill up two email address one is sponsor and another is applicant email address. You can change your email address from sponsor email address or from your new email address. Every time when visa office emails you they email both applicant and sponsor. So you can use sponsor email address to change your email address or you can use you new email address to change your email address.
