Sorry I am not so sure about your first question, did you only pay 100$ or did you pay your sponsor fee and permanent residence fee but only paid 100$ for work permit?

For Question 2, I would recommend waiting until they ask for it because if it expires before you get a decision on your application then you will have to redo again, which is a big waste of money. But it's your decision in the end.

Is someone able to send me some troubleshooting options that worked for them?

Please try in Windows computer/laptop. On mac you can't see bar-code, its always have some issue.

You can pay online "work permit fees" and then mail or upload the receipt.
Please go to your cic account and click on fees option.

You don't need it, they will contact RCMP directly and get all information, if they really need PCC, they will send you email or msg on your account.

Hey mlabella,

I was just in a similar situation as you. I didn't know I had to pay the $155 fee for work permit extension, in addition to the $100 open work permit holder fee. Anyways, I just received an email from the CIC saying that I was $155 short, and that they were going to refund me $355, and that I would have to have $490 again for the right of permanent residency. So I just paid the $490 through their online payment portal. They provide an option to just pay for the right of permanent residency fee.

I would say just wait till you receive a similar email from them. They will probably just refund you the money and ask you to pay the full amount again. Not to worry. They won't reject your application or ask you to submit a new one.
