Got SA a few minutes back in the email. Timeline in the signature :)

We are short of $100 on the right to perm residence fee, because we only paid $155 for the OWP. Does anyone know when I'll have to pay that? I didn't get any instructions on how to do that. Thanks

Actually my wife got another email, saying that Etobicoke office will contact us to arrange a finalization of the perm residency. The email or the letter doesn't mention anything about the $100. Its annoying :(

Yes, the interview is Friday June 1.
Hi, I was just wondering how long it took them to call you up to schedule the interview after you received the letter and when they did call up did they give you a date that was within a few days or was it a week or more away? My wife has received the same email but we are also in a situation where my father is not in good health and we are trying to figure out if she should stay here or if she can go back to help my mother out during this time and so I was hoping to get a sort of timeline on the scheduling of this interview. Thanks!

Guys, anyone had a similar issue as mine?

$155 was deducted from RPRF because we only paid $100 for the OWP.
The OWP letter we got stated that there will be a notice of refund but we didn't get any such notice

As partial RPRF fees cannot be applied to your file, you will be receiving a refund of the
balance. A confirmation of the applicable refund will be sent once the refund has been initiated.
Please note that this will not affect the processing of your application.

Now do we wait for that notice or pay the RPRF and then worry about the refund later?

I've seen others that went through something similar, how did you guys do it? Did you get a confirmation of refund?

I'd like to get this done asap, but the webform is sort of confusing, how does anyone attach the receipt of payment to the webform?

HI Everyone, I am new on this forum. I had a couple of questions, hope someone can help me regarding inland application.
I am a permanent resident and just recently got married outisde of Canada, but my spouse already had visitor visa for Canada.
Questions I had
Can my wife visit me, I haven't sponsored her yet, Basically I want to sponsor her once she is here, so she is eligible for working in Canada during the time, her application is being processed.
If she visits me, are Immigration Officer going to ask her, why we haven't applied for sponsorship yet?
Has anyone been in this situation?

Hi guys. My OWP was approved today as per my cic account. Timeline below:
OWP and PR Received by CIC Missisuaga - Dec 11
AOR - Jan 25
Linked to GCKey - Jan 30
OWP Returned due to insufficient fee - Feb 8
OWP received by Vegreville - Feb 14
OWP linked to GCKey - Feb 23
OWP Approved - May 9

Hi, we are in a very similar situation, so I was just wondering how long the process took once your eligibility review had begun? My status changed to reviewing eligibility last week, so wondering when I might know for sure!

Hi all,

For an inland SOWP, does anyone know how long it typically takes to get your approval once they begin your eligibility review?

Late last week I checked my CIC account to see that they had begun the eligibility review, and I am anxious to know when that means I might know for sure.

I am a Nov. 2017 PR applicant, but didn't submit for my SOWP until February 28th, so according to the "2 to 4 months" rule, I know I should have it within the next four weeks, but since they've started the eligibility review I am wondering if its safe to be optimistic about receiving it sooner than that.

Dear xxx:

This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or

Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.

We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Vancouver Immigration will contact

you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application.

IMPORTANT: You and your family members, if any, will be required to present original

identification document(s) to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office at your

appointment. A final decision concerning the granting of permanent residence status will be

made at that time. If permanent residence is granted, the name that will appear on the

confirmation of permanent resident document is your name as it appears on your passport or

identity documents.

Passport / Travel Document

You must bring your valid passport / travel document with you to your appointment at the

Canada Immigration Centre.

If your passport / travel document was seized by CBSA, it will be sent to the Canada

Immigration Centre directly and will be returned to you at your appointment. Do not contact

CBSA to retrieve it as it will not be released to you until your appointment at the Immigration,

Refugees and Citizenship Canada office.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

The Right of Permanent Residence Fee in the amount of $490.00 is required before you can

become a permanent resident in Canada. The Confirmation of Permanent Residence document

will not be issued to you until this payment is made. If you have not already made this payment,

you must submit proof of this payment to this office as soon as possible via the Case Specific

Enquiry form at the following link:

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.
