Does anybody know if the PR card gets sent from your local IRCC office or the CPC where your PR application was processed?

DM stands for “Decision Made” :) It seems like it’s different case to case, but I believe the review of eligibility is the step before that.

You can definitely apply inland on a visitor visa - just make sure you also apply for the OWP and that your visitor status does not expire before you get your OWP. But once you get your OWP you will be of status as a temporary resident until your PR application is complete. Unless your passport...

Feb 8th here. Nothing since medical passed - still just processing the background check. I’m curious... since you had to submit additional documents, what does it say in your background check? Is it still processing, or is that where it says they’re reviewing additional documents?

Have you tried contacting every panel physician in Saskatchewan?

Like several people have suggested just contact your MP - it could end up being a huge help and solving your issue, or at least providing more details to your refusal, helping realizing what you should differently when/if you reapply. Seriously, just contact your MP and take it from there.

This seems like a very unfair situation to be in. If I were you I’d contact your MP as soon as possible and see if they can help you out. If nothing else, maybe they’d be able to get more information.

If you want to sponsor someone to Canada, you have to physically be in Canada. It does not matter what ties you have to Canada - if you are not in the country, you are not eligible. It’s pretty straight forward.
