Hi All

I have sent my application for PR and I am being sponsored by my husband.

Application sent on April 13th 2017 and it was received on April 14th as per the tracking number.

It's been 6 weeks now and I have no AOR and not able to link my account online.

Can somebody please advise what should I do in this situation??

I am worried.

Nuza.
It took about three weeks for me to receive my AOR after sending my application, and it seems that most people receive their AOR within a month, so if I were you, I would call them to see if they have received your application. You never know, it might have gotten lost in the mail. Try calling them exactly when they open, and I mean at the exact minute they open. Otherwise, you might have a hard time getting through.

As for linking your account online: You have to wait to receive the AOR, and maybe even a few days after that.

I think you should call IRCC to confirm that please or even take a screenshot of correspondence and report it as a technical difficulty since u didn't get any mail. You can ask them to resend the email, from your timeline( if u look at the spreadsheet) you are supposed to have gotten request for Schedule A , medicals and PCC by now.
I reported it as a technical issue, but their phone lines are ridiculous. I've called dozens of times and get through the automated system only to get a message that they are too busy to put me on hold for an agent.
When have you had luck calling the call centre?

I always seemed to get through around 8 am or 10 am. Or around 3 pm or 3 30 pm.

Hey, the only time I've had luck getting through to the CIC is when I've called exactly when they open at 8 am, and not a minute past. I've tried calling like five minutes past that, and they didn't let me through, so I hung up and tried again and again, hanging up whenever they told me that they were to busy, and calling them up straight after I hung up, with the fifth time proving successful. So just keep trying.

CIC received my sponsorship application on December 23, 2016.

I received my AOR on January 17, 2017.

I received the request for my IME on May 20, 2017.

So you should expect yours any time now :)

Called CIC today and got through on the 4th try, I guess I was lucky. 45 minute wait and then a very helpful woman answered the phone.
She said that correspondence at the beginning of April on the same day as our AOR was the request for Schedule A and Police Cert.
Anyways, we uploaded those by webform today, wish it was 6 weeks ago though!

Also received an email late last night, was issued an new eTA "in accorance with your WP-EXT", and the lady on the phone confirmed that the OWP was mailed today! At least there is some good news!

I don't think it would be any problem. If cic request you to apply for a CSQ, you'll easily get it (with 277$...). But if you wrote Ottawa, you'll very likely not be requested to apply for a CSQ. However you wrote August 2018 you would move to Ottawa. As the process will be about 12 months and you would be living in Quebec province during the whole process, I would recommend to write your current city as where you intend to live.
Thank you for your reply sylvain!. From your reply, we can simply write "Ottawa" to avoid applying CSQ right? The reason why we want to avoid CSQ is the extra processing time.

CSQ is extra fee (277$), but not extra time. If you will still be living on the Quebec side of the river in 12 months, I would recommend to write gatineau or the place you currently live if not gatineay. If you plan to move in less than 12 months (expected processing time of the pr), then write Ottawa and attach a letter saying that you plan to move to Ottawa in x months.

1. Does the request for Schedule A and PCC come with the AOR email, or is it already listed in MyCIC when you link your application, or does it come in afterwards on MyCIC/by email later on after the AOR?
2. Is the request for medical sent after both SA and AIP?
