That’s your AIP!! CongratssAfter almost 6 months of nothing from CIC, I recevied this below letter in my account. What does this mean??
"Dear abcdmud
This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class. It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements."
First stage is complete. You have been Approved In Principle (AIP) Good news your are reaching the end of this journey. After almost 6 months of nothing from CIC, I recevied this below letter in my account. What does this mean??

A smart man always ask questions its the foolish man who don't. If you don't know always ask. Did they say why the case is heading there?Hi guys, February 17 applicant here. My wife got her spousal approval last week but is it normal they sent my case to Montreal? I live in Quebec but wondering if everyone gets there cases sent to there provinces. Stupid question, I know. Thank you in advance for your time.
OK I am not too sure but I mostly see that province process it's own applicants. Someone will reply to give a sure answer. They just basically say its been transferred to the immigration center in Montreal. They will be making the final decision... and if more information need be to send it there
