Thanks for your help. I will look into that :)

Quick howto is in my signature... should only take a few minutes to complete the OWP application.

I will.
I have got another question. If on ESCAS it shows In progress/In progress, that would mean that the sponsor got approved, doesn't it?

@profiler @DariaZ unfortunately from pgwp to applying for an initially owp does not give you implied status to keep working. I'm on the same situation, I'm August inland 2017 I didn't apply for an owp because I still has my pgwp valid until october 2018,but now I decide to apply for owp just in case,to be safe and less anxious and less worried and less everything lol ... so as I've been following owp applications sent directly to vegreville are taking 3 months,I will send it next week and by September it would come.. but I have my fingers crossed to my process be done within 12 months haha

That's what I said. If you have applied for the OWP, it will come as the PGWP ends... Overlap is good here..

No. It's a weird state I have never seen before. When SA is passed, it will say DM/In Process or DM/Application Received.

Got it now :)

I was considering starting to get all my documents ready and apply for OWP in June. I was hoping that I could keep working until I get my PR because I am so sick of spending my money on CIC and not getting proper service for that money. But not much we can do I guess at this point.

C'est la vie

They'll refund if they haven't started processing and you land... But, if the opportunity is as good as you say, it might be worth it?

Our Ecas was updated this morning to have "In Procress" on both sides (Sponsorship Application and Permanent Residence Application). Thank God for some movement!

I'm now wondering how to interpret it. What does SA, AIP, and DM look like on Ecas? Does this mean perhaps that they are just working both sides of the application simultaneously?

Thanks in advance for any help!
like @profiler said, it's good news. The "in process" on both sides is a bit strange to me, but I would not worry. What is your timeline so far?

Hello All,
Yesterday I received immigration call. They asked me to send IDs and bills to prove cohabitation, and I submitted all the documents right away.
Today my husband side shows DECISION MADE and my side shows IN PROCESS. Before was IN PROCESS and APPLICATION RECEIVED.
I don't know how long to take me to get a decision made.
My timeline is Dec 5th 2017.

2016 you meant?

Applied inland:
App Received Dec 5, 2016
AOR January 13, 2017
CSQ Received March 14, 2017
OWP August 11, 2017
Med Request November 14, 2017

I'm not worried, just glad they didn't forget all of us late 2016 stragglers! Just curious if there might be an explanation it seems a few of us have been switched to In Progress / In Progress recently. Hoping it's not a mistake.

Our timeline is almost same as yours. This week we received an email asking my wife to get an RCMP police clearance certificate. This was on Monday. On Tuesday, the status changed to In Progress / In Progress. So I guess they started working on her file.

With your timeline, I wouldn't be surprised to see DM coming soon. That's certainly what I wish you!

Hi guys, I'm a 2017 inland applicant but I'm a silent follower of this thread. I received a decision made letter today. my questio is I paid my work permit and RPRF together with the application. When they processed my work permit they deducted 255.00 from my rprf stating that payments were not provided and I will received a refund from the remaining rprf payment. I sent an inquiry with the attached work permit payment. They replied to my inquiry stating that they forwarded it to responsible office. Will i get a notice of refund? Do I have to pay another 490.00? I kept all my receipts with me. Please help.I'm confuse. Tnx.
