I am from a visa- exempt. Below is what I found out in this forum. @Navidpour @profiler

just found this one from the forum.
'''Just to share my experience: I traveled without PR card to Germany. For return, I showed my visa to the airline and at the PoE, the officer did not ask me even a single question. I gave her my passport and CoPR and added that I have landed recently. She was totally OK with them. I did not say anything about my PR card, but she added "So, you have not received your card, yet" and I said "Yes".''''

Hello everybody! I got my phone interview on December 20th, I sent the signed documents and pictures during the first week of January. Today I received one of the copy’s back with their signature, saying I am PR.

Now my question is... the actual PR card will just come? Or am I supposed to do something?
How long does it take?

eTA is now required, and cannot be valid for PRs. At the border isn't an issue. No eTA means (likely) no boarding pass to get to the border. Right?

They're talking PR Card. That's end of process. AOR is the very beginning.

This is the 2016 thread. There is a 2017 thread that may have more time-sensitive posts... Just an FYI :)

Oh, sorry about that...and thank you for letting me know there is another thread. :) I will look for that as I know things change.

No idea with Telephone interviews. With all landings, they process your first PR Card as process. That takes 61 days presently from the time the application was started (with photos).

Yep. Just realized that is the real issue. I think I still need to get it reschedule. Dont know how hard it is..

To delay landing is simple. Email with your return date when they send the invite. Or call the call centre. Done deal.

Not at all. We can still help. But 2016 and 2017 did have a minor difference in filing procedure. That's all...

ok. let me try to call then tomorrow morning to get to reschedule. I assume I wont get a date immediately. Basically I need to wait them to contact me again? Will report back.

If you have a landing letter, try replying to the landing invitation email first, with your story and return date.

If that fails, call the call centre of your local MPs office for rescheduling help.

I was just teasing about free -- I always pay my way ;) 'Cheap date' as some might say ;). Any time usually works, shoot me a DM with when might work for you -- you are landing after all, and we just live boring work-a-day lives :)

For landing, don't stress at all. It's like getting a driver's license. My wife nearly froze when we walked up to the building. I told her what to expect. I was totally fine (well, I was kind of like James Bond walking into the bad-guy's lair!). She wouldn't talk to me until across the street when she finally admitted she was exploding with fear. Totally for nothing. It was anti-climactic. She even broke out laughing at something the Officer said (because I had already said exactly that same thing, in the car, on the way there).

Totally a nothing event. Promise. But take selfies -- because selfies or it didn't happen :).

I will also froze just like your wife.. even starting now, I already so nervous... hahaha :D
they asked for some papers, like my husband work place letter stated how long he works and how much he earns .. (we forget to included that when we apply, we just filled in tax paper)

My husband also keep asking, like do you think they will put us in separate room and interview us? like that? hahaa
