Hey Guys,
My wife (principal applicant) just received a call saying they were calling from Etobicoke Office asking us to come to their office on Oct 31 with all the docs. They also said that since her medicals would be expiring soon, they want to meet before the expiry date.
They also said that they'll be sending us an email about this with all the other info eg. documents requirement, etc shortly.
I'm now worried if this is a interview or landing appointment. ECAS and GCKey doesnt show any updates.
I'm a Nov 15 applicant.

Any info or if anyone has been through like this before ?

Congrats, a landing. That was likely the officer processing your case, and they are trying to help you avoid having to redo the medical.

Check ECAS in the morning. You'll likely find they status has changed.

@carolbb23 had something similar with a passport.

Thanks, keeping my fingers crossed, will update once i receive the email from them

If I remember, we did the medicals upfront, and applied Nov 2. It now says medical passed, but now that they need the cohabitation proofs and the FBI Certificate, will the medical need to be redone? Is that a further delay?

Hi guys, I'm a July 2016 applicant.

I received the decision made email on Thursday Oct 12, saying that I have to wait for Etobicoke to contact me.

Do I receive a COPR before the appointment or no? Also I can't find my receipt for the RPRF, so should I pay that again?

You need to hurry with your documents to avoid a redo.

Congrats!

Etobicoke can take up to 8 weeks to schedule a landing.

Call the call centre (888-242-2100) and ask if they can help you with the receipt.

Inlands receive COPR when they land. Not before. They don't flagpole, they get it all done at landing.

I tried to call today but it kept hanging up on me after saying that it was busy. So frustrating.

Thanks Profiler, I'll have them in on Wednesday. Both issues came via the same letter, should I answer via the same upload or two separate?

Same upload is best

Normally I don't suggest calling, but that or paying again are the options...

Just go back to the online payment system and log in. You will see all receipts you paid in the past and you can print them again.

Huh. That actually works? I know they can find the associated receipts in GCMS, but didn't try to find past payments. Good tip!
Yes as long as one remembers his/her password!
I realized that when I paid the 1040$. I could see a previous receipt I paid for my wife.
