Hi guys , during the landing interview , what do we need to bring for the sponsor side ? Thank you ;)

They asked for my driver’s licence and that was about it. They didn’t even ask me to sign anything - just the applicant.

Include a copy of the request with your correspondence. There will be an unknown amount of time for them to scan them and attach to your file. If you need hints on proofs, see my signature.
Thanks!

I begged them to take my license -- they didn't really care who I was. But yeah, just government issued photo ID.

So early September they asked for proofs of relationship and you sent proofs soon after. It will normally take 45-60 days to get attached to your file. And then an agent must pick up your file again to evaluate your additional proofs. So my guess would be that you will not get news until early November. Then if your security checks are done by that time (different from simple background checks), then you could get DM very soon after they check your file.

Thank you for the fast reply Sylvain. and just want to elaborate on that. We were advised to send the Documents and everything that we can provide through the IRCC Webform. not through mail itself. will it still take upto 45 days till they review everything before they get back to me? also would they not speed up the process since our my cic isnt updating also, the ecase only shows medical are received and that the application was received on the 3rd February. We havent received any updated other then the fact that the ECAS on my Wife side shows decision made in the Sponsor side but application recieved on the PR side.

Thanks for the information!
Looking for to hearing back soon.

Your ECAS will not update until you get your decision made, even for your AIP, it will not show an update. Mycic, it's highly variable, sometimes it's very up to date, sometimes it doesn't show much update until you land.
Regarding the timeline, there were several cases here that took 45-60 days to have what they sent attached to their application. Then the agent responsible for your file has to come back to your file after the documents were attached. I remember one recent case that received AIP about a month after submitting additional documents, so it can happen faster sometime, but the most common was 45-60 days.

@Marie_genial I sent the information they requested by mail this time since this is what they requested this time. Also, on the online system it saids no interview required for me and my spouse but that they are waiting for the documents i just sent for final decision. I just hope the officer realizes he made a mistake.[/QUOTE
its good you sent the information by mail because that it faster. I pray the officer corrects the mistake quickly too. good luck.

Awesome. Thank you so much for your help.

I received an email from cic stating that they have received the documents and will provide them to the immigration officer for consideration.

Hoping for the best. I will update here whenever i hear anything from them in regards to our application.

Thanks again!
