Hi Sam,

I am waiting for my hubby's PR card now. Can you tell me if it comes registered mail.............just dropped in the mailbox or pick up from Canada Post?
I am going to end up leaving the country before it arrives and have it shipped to me abroad. The anticipated arrival will be mid visit of a 4 week return home. Just want to make sure I can have someone ship it to me without having to be the correct person to sign for it.

Hi guys,I'm August 2016 applicant.Just checked my ECAS and I see decision made on sponsor side,and my side still received.does that means approval in principle?And how long it takes to get it by mail?After one year of waiting something finally changed

not sure how long or if they even send anything, we are April 2016 applicant and got Decision Made on sponsor side over 3 months ago and still waiting for anything, applicant side still just says received

Hey, I am july 2016 applicant. I saw DM in sponsor side in last June and was hearing nothing until Yesterday. SA and AIP letter dated as Aug 15 2017 just came through. My Ecas shows DM on Sponsor and Received in APR. Im sure you will get the letter soon!

I have a question here! Can anyone guess how long it takes to get DM on APR side since AIP?

My passport/workpermit expires at the end of this year..... If it is gonna take longer than that, Im gonna have to renew everything!

From DM it's supposed to be less than 8 weeks. That said, occasionally it can take longer based on geography...

This seems to be the only logical one (says it's for permanent resident applicants), but the page does not say that applicants under the sponsorship program are qualified to use it... It says that one must have applied under Federal Skilled Worker, CEC, Federal Skilled Trades, PNP, Caring for Children Class, etc. -- except for Spousal Sponsorship Program! Very confusing :S

I'm 98% sure (based on a previous argument I had) there is no bridge. I contend the applicant can apply for the spousal OWP, but can't keep working via the bridge time.

Takes 4 mos, so if the visa runs out by Christmas time, apply for the spousal OWP (see my signature for completion tips).

Wish I had better news, but best to maintain status -- then you can argue with MPs...

I applied oct 4 2016 and they havent started my eligblity yet and i called cic yesterdy and i was told to just wait but i wont think its normal that they still didnt start ma review of eligiblity.

Hi @Medieko,I did my medical upfront and passed,applied Aug 19 2016.We were waiting for SA 11 months,and they just started my eligibility check few days ago.I hope it's not going to take long!CIC is doing applications applied before Aug25,maybe that's why they didn't start yet with your check

Tnx, dominicantiguan, i have been waiting to get update for the last 10 month almost 11month but ntg and when i read on this forum ppl has started they review of eligiblity under 6 or 7 month from their applcn. That is why i become frustrated . one question if they ddt start ma eligibility up to now my AIP, SA...decision...etc will be out of 12 month period even ma eligiblity , if so is it normal?
Note: i am worried because ma refugee hearing is 2 months in time and
