Did you apply Outland?

I think you're hyper focused on a "task" from a form letter that is just a waste of time.

The form letter is not correct. Yes you need RPRF to land. Not to book an appointment. Additionally, fax and mail will take 30-60 days just to get added to your file. If it was true that they need it to book your appointment, you will be unnecessarily delaying your landing.

I'll mention one last time, and then I'll remain quiet -- don't. If you really feel the need that they know you paid before they book, call them. Their system generated that receipt -- don't you think the receipt number is enough? Turns out, in GCMS notes, I can prove it's more than enough... So, calling and passing a receipt number is the fastest way.

I've not been wrong with anything I have said to you. I am trying to save you from the potential delay.

Not going to deny that.
You been spot on!!!!

They ask me, medical and criminal records in April and in May 16th I got the SA and an email saying:
Proof of Relationship: You did not provide sufficient evidence that you are a common-Law partner (cohabitating for a period of at least one year at time of application).

In June 5th they received further proof how they asked and now I stil waiting again, wondering what will be the next step lol
If you sent additional proofs on June 5th, you really should get news soon. Typically around 60 days after you submit anything. So any day now you could get AIP.

Yes I did last month. I am the sponsor... They asked my husband (PA) for RCMP fingerprints, new medical (because his first one expired), and a renewed copy of passport early July. I then received SA about 20 days later... it says his medical exam passed and currently background check in process... ECAS currently shows decision made on sponsor side and application received on applicant side

Do you think they gonna ask me as well a renew passport? Mine will expire 25th June 2018,my layer told me that they will not ask me,but I would like hear also your opinion guys

Sent via email? I paid online but the asked for a copy to be sent,
Am going to fax and mail
fax is better and than bring real recipt on interview

Will do! anything we can help with just ask!
hi im new here just wanna ask because they send me medical req last march 29 and until now i havent receive my ppr i check my ecas and still medical receive .. how long does it take to get ppr? thanks in advance

I am a June 2016 applicant and all I have on my ecas now is decision made on sponsor side and also received the SA letter last month. Nothing on the applicant side still says application received and medical results received. However, the toll free line says medical passed, and background check in process. Still waiting for updates ......

I check so many times a day, it makes me so frustrated! it's taking so long! wish I had more patience lol
April 2016 applicant here and totally understand what you are saying, waiting and checking and waiting and checking ..... very frustrating

Inland applicants don't get PPRs. They get their COPR when they land at an inland CIC office appointment.

Did you apply inland?

yes my wife sponsored me and we are both here in canada ..whats COPR means ..thanks

Confirmation of Permanent Residence. It's a paper given to you, that you must keep safe for life.

Did you get any letters from CIC? Sounds like you might want to call them (specifically is security check delayed? Are you in line for a possible interview? Do you have kids outside of Canada?)
