The actual "interview" (more like appointment) is about 5-10min long. You have to change SIN and fix OHIP as well... So for time off, I'd book a day/half-day.

You'll get 7-14days notice typically of the appointment.

Any time between now and 8-12wks from now. All depends on when they can schedule you

From my understanding, it's a means to get subpoenas, get sworn testimony, and indictments. They're never convened unless strong suspicion of guilt is present..

I'm not sure about frightening, but if you're offering ways to pirate signal of those big companies, you have to expect a legal battle. I think on the long term they can't win, people are switching to streaming more and more. Their only way out will be to significantly reduce their profit. But I'm still paying for cable...
