Well, no, they expect you have some for of severance, so that would mean that you have a couple weeks to pad you before EI will start (it will take 3-4 weeks)

the situation is, I already filed a vacation weeks before got injured. The doctor told me that i need a 2 weeks rest.
so basically my second week is already filed as VL.

I have 2 jobs.

on my other job is no work no pay where i want to apply for EI.

If you are employed, I think you cannot claim EI. So, if you are unable to do one of two jobs, that won't work for an EI claim. Were you hurt while working?

yes, im on duty when i got hurt. That's my regular part time with benefits.

My other job is par time with no benefits but full time working hours. No work no pay.
Both i applied for VL

VL??? If you were hurt at work, that is a worker's compensation claim. EI is more like social assistance. So you'd have to have no income to use it.

Some people in the forum have been able to upload a lot of pages within the 3.5 mb limit when asked for additional documents. Someone even pages but I have not heard back from them.
Initially I was going to go for multiple CSEs but you said it is not a good idea. I also am not sure of mailing it, as the letter specifically said in bold letters to submit via CSE.

I have around 45 pages, can you guide how to do it ?? Is there any trick by which ppl have been able to reduce size of pdf ?
Please help

We got the confirmation about the sponsorship, but nothing about the OWP that he applied too. And until now nothing. Does anybody here have the same issue or experienced something like this. Its been 9 months and we're getting frustrated. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a blessed Sunday!

Hi, I have recommended the same process for nearly 50 people already that I know have already landed. And lots of others who I didn't bother to follow their progress. So, I can say for 1,000,000% it's acceptable. No question.

WRT making the pages smaller, sure you can. It's reasonably technical, and will depend on the support your scan software has. As I don't know any details (operating system, scanner product number, scan software in use, etc), I can't give you any more details.

from what I have read the maximum it should take to get OWP is 4 months, we got ours sooner than that (I wish the PR process was as efficient), you should call them about that

Were you out of status when you applied? Did you miss a document request?

I have the same status. I am waiting for OWP since OCt.2016 because between Feb-March I was out of status. What is your husband status right now?

We are heating up here.. sans rain and cloud. Nothing but electric-blue sky, zero clouds for as far as I can see. Supposed to hit 30 today or tomorrow... In Ontario-speak, it will feel like high 30's. But, it is still July.

We had a barbeque yesterday... Took mini-me to my parents to let him play with my mom and dad... Otherwise, same old...

It finally reached 32C here and humidity also started to rise. Still a very nice day.

I just checked my cic account after a week and it showed updated with the line that "we are reviewing your eligibility"... and then I checked my ECAS status and that shows as "Decision made" on both sides but no email from CIC. Is that normal?? How long does it take for CIC to intimate what is the decision?

Congrats!

You'd know long before now if CIC had any questions regarding your file. If they didn't send a procedural fairness letter, it's a positive result. We didn't get a DM letter until two days before landing. But two hours after DM in ECAS, we were sent a landing invite. So, don't be worried if it's delayed. If no procedural fairness letter, it's positive.
