nothing special, just a week with a lot of work to do! So a bit less time to comment here!

Yeah, I picked up another project yesterday afternoon that will be required to seal a multi-million dollar deal with another federal government... *le sigh* it's like the work is never done (and good for it!) ;)

@profiler me again :):):)

Is it normal that we got DM on ECAS and MyCIC still says "we're reviewing whether you meet the eligibility criteria" and "we're processing your background check"?

Yup. It's why I ask people lately what ECAS says. I don't care what MyCIC says, as it's proven to be inaccurate. If I am giving an opinion, I need to know the source of the information I am basing an opinion on is sound. ECAS is.

My wife (and I believe @sylvain1's wife) also had the same behaviour from MyCIC. It stays in that position until your wife lands.

Thanks a lot, these lack of sync between systems drives us crazy....

When did you see DM on ECAS? And what's your landing office?

June 14th and should be landing in St Johns....curiosity got the best of me since I was worried about not getting DM letter or landing letter yet, so I called CIC and they assured me everything was fine, everything is complete. The woman told me I should see landing letter by the end of this month. Crossing fingers for that to come soon.

So you think it's worth giving them a call and trying to get some more information?

for me it was...I simply asked them what the status of my application was, and then specifically asked about the security/background check since I have read that it sometimes holds things up. She told me everything was done and completed. They were very nice and patient with me, answered everything I asked.

If it will make you sleep better at night, sure. It's a struggle getting them on the phone, though.

But, you've been approved. It's time to plan your landing party. Kitchener is usually a quicker office as there is less people landing there. From what I recall, they land Spousal Sponsorships on Friday Mornings 9am and 10am.
