Flattery will get you everywhere... though I really am not.

They probably started the check from Libya. I know one of my doctors was born in Libya, and trained in UK. He never said anything about there being a problem with being from Libya, but Canada is ultra-stringent on MD's...

I would guess that it probably won't take the 6 months. I suspect it's less than 2 or 3.

Thanks Prof - I hope so!!! we want to take a trip somewhere for our honeymoon hopefully this year! He wasn't allowed to leave Canada no travel documents. lol we did have a Babymoon in Banff.. so that was exciting haha!

He was born tongue-tied...apparently common. So he only had a few days of real learning to feed before this... Maybe two weeks..

No she pumped. But a bottle does not equal a breast... Annnd...well... When the diaper isn't full, and the food isn't being consumed, and the walking around or burping isn't working... Time for the car!

Ya we put about 400km on the car from about 1:30-2am to 5:30-6. They let us sneak into the ward at the hospital for 7 so she could breastfeed...but man... I was beat and can't hear babies scream anymore. Deaf to it..

They say men and women are created equal. I respectfully disagree..

Having a youngling, I can state for a fact, they have a serious biologic advantage WRT kids over men. They can get second, third, and fourth winds (energy). Babies are genetically programmed to seek the nipple. And it seems like they want mom for comfort....screw dad!

For me, there is a "Party Details" record, that has our info (because I was the "unpaid rep" for my wife). It has a "Disassoc Reason" "Entered in Error". Address type is "Residence"

Wisa is a Ruskie thing. They really struggle for some reason to pronounce the "V", despite using it actively in everyday language.

I'd offer to review the notes to see if I find anything that would be an issue, but it sounds like you have a handle on it. The only other thing you can do is perhaps talk to your MP, or take up fishing (I can hear @TempestD's eyes rolling from here!) ;). My wife did avoid travel, but is headed home for two weeks in about 2 weeks time...
:eek::p

Hi everyone. How do I get to the part that tells me which date they are working on? Aug 23rd 2016 app received. Passed medical. But nothing else yet. Getting anxious.

Hey guys, what does this text in gcsm note mean?

" ***Recommend passed*** Application identified for streamlined eligibility processing and is part of the 2016inventory reduction exercise for certain Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada applications"

It seems generic though.

That's when calling CIC. Last time I saw a post on that it was saying August 10th.

Didn't see that in my notes but sounds like you can expect your application to be done within the year and not in the initial 26 months period
