They received my application on 8 March 2017 and started processing on 23 March.

Oh... you've got a long way to go yet. Probably see something around January / February 2017...

That would be amazing

My birthday is next 29th, that'd be the best gift I could have received

Kitchener emailed us about an hour and a half from the time I noticed DM in ECAS, with an appointment 9 days later. YMMV as always, but it's not unheard of. Something similar happened with @carolbb23 -- Etobicoke fit her husband in, to avoid an expiring passport.

I already e-mailed my lawyer saying I saw DM on ECAS

Waiting to hear from him now....

Sorry I didn't get what you meant by They need to send you a procedural fairness letter before they stop processing/refuse a file.

Yeah, it's normal. It takes time for them to process the AIP ... that is where they look at all the evidence you submitted. Next few days or a week maybe. Also, this is usually the stage where they ask for documents or medicals.

Notice I state that you may recieve document requests before AIP? They have yet to have any time to even review your certificate.

Additionally, did you try calling to ask for a status update? And ask about sponsor approval?

Hi Profiler, Sylvain,

as you guys know my landing will be on July 27.
1. What kind of questions they ask?
2. Will they ask any relationship questions?
3. Please share your experience how it went through.
Please advise.thanks

1 - don't worry about it. Questions are not a test. Similar to, "were you ever refused entry into Canada or anywhere?", "Do you have any dependents not listed in your application in Canada or anywhere?, "Have you been convicted of a crime in Canada or anywhere".

2 - no.

3 - there is a post somewhere. Needless to say, it's dead simple and easy. They take your passport, call you up to review COPR. You sign, they sign, questions from you and answers from them. Like a driver's license...
