really?? OMG!! This administration is like a bad 'B' Movie, very bad! . SAD!

There is two twitter accounts -- they claim to be White House staffers who covertly report what's happening inside the WH ("Rogue POTUS Staff" and "Angry WH Staffer"). Believe them, or not, *shrug* that was a pretty good relevation. I was thinking it was Spicey or Reince. Some have also suggested that the leaks are from Bannon when he gets liquored up (someone is running another rogue account on twitter "Rogue CPI") that they believe is drunk-Bannon.

Another interesting #Resistance stream to watch on twitter is @alt_uscis.

The RePugs do not care about the "average/poor" "Mericans. I would have thought that they (38%) would see that Trump supports to cutting taxes for the rich while taking away ACA (aka ObamaCare).

Well, yesterday, Lindsay Graham and Cassidy have an interesting alternate proposal.... it's eerily similar to how Canadian health care works (feds send cash to the provinces to control health coverage -- known as "single payer"). It has the potential to mirror Canada's care, and could actually work to bring the providers in line (forcing costs down).

Oh, and they mentioned DreamyJ will be visiting with Governors this weekend (that was somehow important when talking about health care???)

Seems like SFB and DonaldChump have a lot in common.

You meant to say President Bannon. I don't think the investigations will be done any time soon. They have started to drill into Brietbart and the Alt-right news sources. From what I heard also, they may be looking at ramping up the organized crime team. I know Republicans are _pissed_ about the fact that they complained they cannot do anything to get their agenda passed when Obama was around, but they have literally stalled with Trump too... They told him to "cut it out already; no more"

Pressure from RePugs, Pressure from Pootie...........what's he going to do?

The CIC website used to state that even if the application was processed within 26 months, that the AIP was done within 16. Has anyone else ever seen it? It's not there anymore but I'm 100% sure it was on the website

IRCC removed that (SA in 16 months) a while back after they made the commitment to be done by December 2017.

@dominicantiguan

If you tell the website when you applied (Before december 15 2016), it will change the target to 26 months I believe... at least that's when I last saw it.

Good morning everyone. Just signed up as I have been watching everyone's posts for the last few weeks. Cic received our application Aug 23rd, 2016. AOR on Sept 21st. We did upfront medical and upfront police check. We applied for sponsorship, open work permit and PR at same time. Owp received in November 2016 i think. Children that are not accompanying medicals requested June 1st. Medical has changed to passed. I don't understand the AIP. So not sure if we have that yet. Applied to mississauga. I have not received a SA as of today.

My dad had a stroke. If your field of science is in the brain (you said Biology), my dad's stroke was a Wallenberg Syndrome (apparently extremely rare) caused by a blood clot in the brainstem. Turns out, they told him he would never have a recurrence, as the brain's bloodflow re-routed itself around it. He is still 'normal' (as in he still drives a car, he still does all the things he did before, etc).

His take was, if you had to die some way, that's be the way. You have a bit of a headache and you are dazed...

One of my close friend lost his dad from a severe stroke. For the family, the fact that it's sudden is hard to accept... because you don't have time to say things you always wanted to say, but it's comforting to know that there was no suffering. For the person dying, that's probably the way, yes.

Your dad was very lucky! You don't mess with the brainstem... it controls respiratory centers, cardiac control centers,...

I do brain research but mainly fundamental science (not clinical). So my field is still a bit far from that, but I do understand how disastrous the consequences could have been.

And we have some big names (the outlets) here too... eg: Bluenotes. I remember one gift card for $100 on boxing week bought almost an entire wardrobe (something like 4 pairs of jeans, 3 shirts, etc).

I also have to mix it up, so La Senza is also usually on the list (bras in North America fit better and are "more comfortable"; or so I am told).
LMAO, oh you haven't tried? :D

Yeah they told him that too. And that it was inoperable (but no need to remove, as the brain somehow corrected the issue itself). The Neurologist in charge of the regional Neurology clinic (from Grand River Hospital) is apparently renowned and teaches Neurology-related topics at UWO.
