"Vacation" You sure know how to kill my hopes Prof! LOL.. it's been 30 days since I submitted my requested documents and remember I stated that some of it got uploaded to my file (I see that on my notes) but they haven't actually acknowledged a receipt yet. Still no SA/AIP or DM Hopefullly I hear something soon! As for a Canada Day, Great fireworks as usual at centennial park! Hope everyone had a splendid weekend!

#KillerOfDreams.... you knew what this was....

I believe I heard they staffed up. So, if they actually did, then it's possible that they will continue at a reasonable pace. I just wanted to be the Negative Nancy and make sure to ground expectations...

What document did they ask you? When was your application received?

What document did they ask you? When was your application received?

Passport sent with the application was expiring so June 6 they asked me to send copy of the new passport. I also had to resend the schedule A on June 6 due to a missing address.

Application was received April 27, 2016.

I thought it would have taken longer. OMG.....you cracked me up with the "Ode to Russia" link you posted. Going to show it to my husband when I get home.:D

Did you call and verify that they in fact did not require any documents? If not, you should probably do that, and while you have them on the phone, ask then for a status update.

If you already have AIP, then ask for a status update on your security check.

To be honest, you're within the average timeline I saw earlier: 13-14mos. So, I don't think there is much to worry about...

All things being equal, and the processing times are correct, there should be a PR Card today or tomorrow!

@carolbb23 did you get one yet??

Indeed, you reached 60 days since landing! Watch the mailman!

Well, mail usually takes no more than 3 days from coast to coast... BUT we know that CIC's mailroom is a busy place. We really don't need it until August 8th, but it would certainly be nicer to have it before then. If not, I will just send her to Moscow with her COPR and tell her to get a PRTD. Otherwise she would end up marooned outside of Canada (her visitor wisa expired May 17th -- though technically both that and her OWP expired May 5th when she became a PR -- you cannot possess a visa when you are PR (it's not required!)).
