LMFGDAO!!!!

BAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

ok, so, you can trust him.... OR, you can accept my advice -- it's done. You are landed. No ports of entry for you. You have your SIN. You just wait for your PR Card, and tell everyone you know that he is a FRIGGING CROOK WHO STOLE YOU MONEY

/rant

profiler is right even report him to irccc

Aww thank you so much. I don't think without your help it would have been a positive tbh. Especially the letter template you created. I'm waiting for an email now.

congratulations legolg

Because you haven't yet gotten AIP, you might have to wait for your COPR to apply for OHIP. I don't think they will accept the "Processing is now complete" DM letter. AIP or COPR I think is it.

SIN, yeah definitely need COPR in your case. If you had an OWP, you can get a temp SIN, but there is no way you'll apply for that -- you'll land before you even submit it.

profiler is right they only take copr for ohip

there was one person posting (don't remember if it was in this thread or another one) that he was said 8 to 12 weeks. We were told 6-8 weeks, and as posted by @profiler CIC website currently states 57 days (so 8 weeks, or to be more precise as @profiler likes, 8,142857142857142857 weeks). :D!!!

i email Mr carol rep if she got his pr card I told her we landed on April 28 2017 she told me 8 to 10 weeks

Congrats Kristina :)
Fun and safe Canada Day to my peeps :)

My son is headed to Toronto harbour to see the rubber duckie and to tour the HMCS Toronto!

Rubber Duckie: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.the...nt-rubber-duck-makes-a-splash-in-toronto.html

And for any one near a port city, all of Canada's Navy name-sake vessels, minus two (St John's and I can't recall the other) were recalled and are all in their name-sake cities for open tours and meet and greets.

sounds fun

Congratulations... can you tell me when did you apply? I applied Nov 2016 want to calculate my progress.
I applied march 18,2016 but keep in mind I had to wait extra 2 months because they requested more proof of cohabitation as well

I got my AIP yesterday at 6;34pm :) Going to renew my OHIP Tuesday. Happy Canada Day!

Hi there! Congratulations on your AIP! You and I are on a similar timeline/similar situation. I originally sent my application mid March 16', but it got sent back to me for a missing form. My sponsor got approved this week and I just uploaded more proof of relationship Thursday night that they requested June 3rd.

All of this is long way of me asking :) ....How long did it take for you to receive AIP after sending them more proof of relationship?

If memory serves, something close to 60 days. Keep in mind, they are still doing other processing at the same time. If they finish the security screening and the medical has been completed and passed, your file could go from the state you are currently at, to DM in the matter of an hour.

That's a good starter for Canada day celebrations!! Congratulations!

Speaking of, I hope everyone is having an awesome time :). Looks like we might get rained in for fireworks here in KWC. That's ok -- we'll just take the party inside :)!

Thank you! When I called a few weeks ago they said my medical results were successful. Not sure about the security screening.

You can ask them directly if that's complete or not, if you're interested in knowing. But usually they'd start it anyway. So there is a good chance it's under way or finished by now...
