I agree and I'm not too familiar with the process either. But I know that the program was changed and the points system was changed. Now he is afraid that if he makes a change, they will assess him with the new points system, not the previous one (of when he first applied) and what I understand is that he doesn't think he would qualify under the new system.

Yeah from that perspective, I guess it makes sense. I am still wondering what happened to @browning911. I might have to bust out my old phone to find an email address for her..

Last time she was around, she'd mentioned she was "grumpy". And she does know (I hope?) that we are all waiting on our hands for her Security check to finish. I just hope she hasn't been queued up as a winner of the QA Interview lottery :(.

Is today going to be a sugary Thursday? I think we have a few folks left from the beginning of 2016 (March - July) that need some news ... anyone have any changes to their ECAS?

None as yet but I'm thinking since my GCMS notes states my due date for the security is July 2nd and My requested documents July 14th I'm assuming that's when they'll look at my file again so I'll be patient until then.

Hi I'm July 13,2016 applicant still no news on ecas or on mycic. When I called cic they are processing July 10 applications. It's has been such a slow.

Your notes are also more than 30 days old, right? So it might already be done :). Usually ECAS is updated every morning between 7 and 8 am ET. But I did notice a DM in ours at 9:40 (which wasn't there at 7:30).

So far, there has been lots of good news this week. We need to keep that ball rolling :).

Is it 30 days old? Hard to say seeing as it showed updates from mid June... 15th to be specific and I they have details of the document We sent in the notes even though they havent actually acknowledged the receipt. I was telling someone, they kept emailing every week due to the few mistakes my wife made on the consent form so could be why its recent

Unless there was an abrupt change in policy, the notes are generally a month old. Look at the top in the centre, there is a date there. That's when they created it.

Weird, says requested date is 6/20/2017.. we received it on the 23rd. However we actually requested it on the 9th of May but like I said due to the errors they kept asking us to fix (more than once) I think that's how we ended up with 3 day old notes.

EDIT: I should add that my wife also asked on the 22nd via email how long will it take and then boom we received it the next day

Well, then, great :). Typically notes are 30 days old...

it's good for you then, you have very recent notes! The last set I ordered was on March 8th, I got them on April but the information were already outdated! We got SA, AIP, DM on March 20-21 and the notes I received in April were stating that my eligibility as a sponsor wasn't started yet... So as @profiler said, the notes are usually a month old when you get them. But really, good for you to get recent notes!

Any clue what location:Inland Pending/Bf means?

It used to say Inland Pending Review. Someone said BF menant bonafide but why does it still say Pending? lol

I assume you don't want the joking responses :).

If it is bona fides, then, at that time the file was sitting in queue to have your relationship evidence evaluated (bona fides are where they assess the legitimacy of the claim you made -- in this case -- as a member of the Family Class).
