Yea.. Probably Kelowna or Vancouver would be a little bit cheaper that this but as you said.. adding costs of travelling there etc I would end up paying this much anyways. Also with my work schedule closer is better.

Got AIP few days ago. Now the only thing I have to deliver is medical.. and then I guess more waiting

All depends. In our case it wasn't long. For others it has been...

You should get an update from them (assuming they emailed right away stating they got the request) usually within 30 days...

So you could see an email from them any time now

Thanks.
I received the auto reply email but not the official one which state that your document is forwarded to the department.
I believe that is why still I didn't receive any update for my file everything stuck on SA.
why they are super slow, I think when you start looking on a file you should finish it on a go rather than keep it waiting.

Once you get the second message, then the officers will have it...

just curious...did you all get to choose where you went for your exam?

For me there was only one place to go, I had no choice, was told where to go and when, lol...was $155 for exam, then off to the hospital for $266 xray and $78 bloodwork

do you have any idea how long it takes to upload a Canada post doc to your file?
because my RCMP was directly mailed to CPC-M by RCMP Ottawa on May 18.

It's sitting in a processing queue for documents submitted.

The same department accepts applications too. They digitize cases and documents submitted, then attached to files.

Given the higher load on immigration these days, that department slowed down. When they email you to tell you the docs have been received, then they've made it to the case (been attached).

Anytime after that the officer may check and find them there. That's when they will resume.

As @sylvain1 said it's usually 60 days (they allow 30 for submission, and they do add a buffer in case you need more time).
So there's going to be an e-mail saying that the documents were effectively added to the application?

I thought that we were gonna hear a decision from them now....

The same for Quebec city, only one option, 380$. But some cities like Montreal, Toronto, calgary, Edmonton,... have multiple options.

I sincerely hope you'll get a decision soon. Once they will check at your file, I'm sure it will go fast.

you know how annoying this is.
it's 1.5 months and still they didn't upload it. I don't know how to explain it.

Totally get it. I sent them something and waited 45 days :(. I even called to ask where it went...

Kitchener has one physician, it was closer and cheaper than Toronto or London..

RCMP is fast. All electronic. Within days it's done.
