Hi I just received an update for my application and so does my wife.

In my letter it says
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence.......

Is this the AIP?

We applied last June 2016.

Thabks for your input!
Hi
When did you get your file ?

Mid June 2016. See: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-inland-applications-2016-timeline-and-updates-t389295.0.html;msg5894334#msg5894334

So, we start this week with no new news in ECAS (expected), and medicals scheduled for Wednesday. Here is to hoping other 2016's have some good news this week!

I got a letter from CPC - M asking for policy certificate, which makes me confused.
I have submitted the policy certificate from my home country with the application. But didn't submit the Canada's.

This letter looks like a general letter because it states,
'If you have not yet submitted the following documents, you must submit them to this office:
The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18'

Does that mean they want me to submit a Canadian policy certificate?

thanks

Did they not specify a list of countries to submit? Usually they do. And typically, they ask the RCMP about you automatically (so it would make it a moot point).

nope, there is no a list of country. :(

I am wondering if they are asking for the police certificate from Canada. What's the letter would be state?

Hi

I had applied for Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications in July 2016 and have received a request for Medical and Police Clearance certificate.
I had submitted both with my initial application and this makes me confused on what to do ?
My submitted medical certificate is dated 26th April 2016 and Police clearance certificate dated 24th April 2016.

Do i need to re-do my medical and get a new Police Clearance certificate ?
Is there a way to contact CIC for this issue?

Thanks

You can try calling the call centre. But they are generally not very helpful. I would need to see the mailing to get an idea what you need to do. Some have reported having to submit fingerprints to RCMP, but that letter is pretty explicit...

First, please don't double-post and create a new topic.

If you submitted a medical April 26th 2016, then it's pretty close to expired (depending on how many days before the submission date you did the medical). We too have been requested to re-do the medical. When was the PCC from? When was the last time you were in your home country (or the country they have requested the PCC for)?

sorry, I don't know how to attach a photo. I copied it as following:

"If you have not yet submitted the following documents, you must submit them to this office:

Police Certificate(s)

The principal applicant (and all family members 18 years or older) is required to submit a police

certificate(s) from the:

• The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18;

For instructions on how to obtain the correct police certificate required, you must visit

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

If you have already submitted police certificates as noted above please disregard. If you are unable to

comply please forward a written explanation."

Call the call centre and ask them to verify they have received PCC's for every country you have been in since you were 18. It might be an error that you got that. Also, if Canada was the country that you have spent the most time in, since you turned 18, then do as they ask and try to get an RCMP PCC? That way, you cover all the bases, right?

seems like we are in the same situation. I am also a july 2016 applicant.
but I didn't submit the medical exam with my application. So I submitted it last week when they asking me to do it. It shows medical passed now on my cic account.

I suggest you to check you cic account. if it states medical passed, I don't think you will need to re do the medical.
for the policy certificate, I am not sure about it

Hello,
what date in July 2016 did you apply?
