That is why I do not care about condition 51 we are a genuine couple so having that condition stay does not bother me. If it helps protect others then I am all for it.

My only issue with it, is how the legislation was worded. It should protect BOTH Sponsor and Applicant. And they should also broaden the reasons to excuse it.

He is working tonight. He has been here from Feb 2014. We started living together in Aug 2014. He left in Feb 2015 and came back in Apr 2015 and has been here since. Got married on 31 Aug 2015.

Ms Profiler has been here full-time (no leaving and coming back) since Sept 22 2015. We were married during one of her visits in June 2015. She went home after a month, renewed her passport, got documents together, set up her apartment to rent, and bailed.

Babushka wants me to visit her next year for her 89th birthday (February). I know she is planning to head home for a week or two. Wisa's are a pain to get to wisit Russia. Even with family there, and citizens "inviting" me. Like $400 for single entry wisa. Total bribes..

In the building where I work people come to apply for Russian visas. They always come to our office to see if we know where the office is.

Fly to Finland, take a boat to St. Petersburg and a train from there to Moscow. Entries by boat give you a visa-free window which was 3 days when I did it but I heard that scheme might be extended even longer. St. Petersburg is cool anyway.

Well, that is sort of their job, right? They keep undesireables out, to keep us safe, while still trying to be as free and liberal as they can with allowing others.

In perspective:
Say, you're an immigration officer now. And you are presented a case where a young family (Woman, Canadian; Man, some other place) where there was evidence that the man just wanted a "Green" card. Let's say it was a MoC. Let's say, on the surface, it appeared that they were legit. But you had a suspicion. What would you do? Probably invest the time to check it out to make sure that it wasn't a MoC, right? 'Cause that's what the Canadian population pays you to do.

I am not siding with anyone here. I am just trying to ground the train here. Because, there seems to be a totally distorted expectation -- either that, or I have somehow slipped into some alternate reality -- the jury is still out on that..
