BTW, yesterday we went to Service Ontario to try to submit the OHIP application. I felt like they would not process it since hubby is not working full-time but he was thinking they would do it but they said no we needed a letter stating he was working full-time.

ON IMM5406 if this form is to be completed be ALL applicable family members 18 yrs and older,
how do you indicate whose information is on this for ?
they have space for PA and spouse/common law
any suggestion?

You can jot the name down at the top. We indicated the russian forms for the officers .

I applied my my PR + WORK permit by mail. Both process were received by Immigration office on 15TH November/2016 ( mississauga ) but i didnt get my work permit yet.

Is there someone here that applied after this date also by MAIL and already got the OWP?

Did someone already travel outside canada and returned during the PR process not concluded yet just HOLDING a valid OWP + Temporary resident Visa?

Pls help me....

You are only a few days over the time. It could be in the mail still. As to leaving and returning, it is totally up to the CBSA officer. So even if someone else was able to do it, doesn't mean everyone can...

@ Newtinho: My personal experiences are as follows:

I applied (AOR) June, 1, 2016 but I applied for OWP Dec 02. I already received it March, 08, 2017. (Issued March, 06).

I went outside country with a friend who was flag-poling. I did not have any problem except, they asked more questions than in airports. That said, I would not recommend it. They can refuse your entry. I entered primarily with valid full time student status (as primary), while the PR application was ongoing. I was actually not aware of this dual intent thing before that trip. So be careful.

Dual intent isn't illegal. But they can focus more on ties back home, to satisfy themselves that you will leave if your app is refused. Otherwise, seeking entry is usually perfectly fine..

We chose not to do it, after the wife was grilled at Pearson over the statement, "I am here to be with my husband." That freaked them out a little. She got a speech as to why her plan was not the right way, blah blah

I just got my work permit approved in MyCIC today. CIC Mississauga received my app on December 16th 2016.

Hope you'll get yours soon too, seeing that I applied a month after you.
