Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to announce that I have received my OWP!
Now, this was strange, I did not get any notice via email, my account didn't say pass or decision made nor it had changed to my new address. I went in for the first time this week to get mail at the new address and there it was! It had been in there for several days while I was fixing up a Canada Post key issue. So for those who are waiting, keep an eye on the mailbox and not your account or email.

Hopefully, PR is next!

My application was sent in March 2016 (Ottawa) Received April 2016, I did not apply for the permit right away as I still had one that didn't expire for almost half a year later. I applied for the OWP in November, just in case they took longer than the time frame they give, and avoid being on implied status. My job has been really picky about this so I'm glad I got it before that happened.

We are all getting there! Slowly but surely.

Since I already sent it with my application,should I be worried about it?

my husband did for them to continue to work on his Canadian permanent residence application I got approved for sponsor on March 10

our lawyer said nortarized letters from friends and family, text logs,option c from revenue Canada for both your lease and etc

Did you get a SA and AIP yet ? I m a Jan 2016 applicant too
and i got a SA and AIP a few days ago. hope for the landing letter
will come soon too. it's a painful process.

Applied for Spousal PR, OWP etc on the 25th of Feb. They're promising to complete everything in 12months for apps made after 7th Dec 2016.

How long are the OWP generally valid for ?

Is there a fixed time limit ?
