What is that "second AOR"?

There are two AOR's generally given....the Sponsor gets one and later the Applicant. No significance of an AOR other than to inform the sponsor and applicant that the application was received.

Hahaha i doubt I'll go anywhere. Once you do something over an extended period of time its hard to break the habbit. I'm sure I'll still try to log in on mycic every day once i land. Lol

LOL. I am at the point now where I do not check every day before that I used to check My CIC multiple times per day.

Thank you It's already linked in my account. so far this one came out:

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Not Started
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started

Mine was received last May 16, 2016.

How long does it take for the background check? how do they do it.

Thank you very much again.

The only difference between ours and yours is that my medical shows passed. My application was received Mar 30, 2016.

Like Simpsol said, background check will remain in process until DM.

folks
I called CIC today. the automated message said that they are processing applications received before December 7, 2016 . They have moved away from the regular updates and now they simply saying that everything is being processed.
this is completely useless... CIC seemingly doing one step forward two steps backward.

I concur so I do not even bother calling. I am relying on Profiler (MIA) and Simpsol for updates. :D

oh ,
then this is a good news! they are in early December!
you made my day ;)

they have jumped from August 2016 (i guess 2015) to December 7, 2016 (2015) in processing!! in a week. it means that everybody from Sept to Nov 2015 is done now! in a few weeks they should be starting the 2016 applications
ZumbaG

IRCC has to finish with Simpsol, Carol, June and others first. But I guess 2016 soon.

Mid-December is starting to get news of first stage approvals. I'm sure you'll hear some news soon.
