thats the thing, i have a representative, and seriously, she is so useless, i have asked her a ton if there's any update on my application and all she keeps on telling me is to wait, as cic says that the processing time is still 26 mos. to be honest, i get more info from this forum than it is to her...

There probably aren't any updates yet for you...they are working their way down though. I'm sure your rep will figure it out as soon as they get word for you. Have you been watching your eCAS? That's a good indicator. Mine updated to Decision Made for my sponsor on Friday the 20th and Monday the 23rd, we got the letter.

Yes, that's the only thing I can check since i cant access my own application through my cic account due to the fact that I used a representative.
I have a question though, last August, the last document that Cic asked me is my police clearance from Singapore, when i submitted that, i submitted my upfront medical as well even though they haven't requested it, my question is, would cic still ask for my medical or it would just be automatically 'medical passed'?
thanks :)

As long as you uploaded your E-info medical sheet, they should mark it as passed. However, you'll see another December applicant that just got a request today...she had already uploaded the forms back in June when she did hers. You could send a Case Specific Enquiry to confirm they have the medical.

my representative says that she already submitted it, she told me that if cic asked for my medical, they would just resend it to them, i was thinking, if we already submitted it, why on earth they would request for it still? the reason i did my upfront is so that we dont have to wait til they ask for it and just submit it to them in advance so when they needed it, its already on my file. im starting to think that maybe i should just remove my representative. would that still be possible?

still possible, but you are so close, not sure you'd want to. Try calling CIC tomorrow (if you can having a rep)....say it's been over 3 months since you did the medical and just wanted to make sure its on file. The website states they try to review within 3 months....but i think thats when they are requested...not upfront.

thanks. i had been calling cic the past few weeks, unfortunately i couldnt go in :( , this January, i asked my rep about 3 times already if there's an update w my application. she keeps on telling me that the processing time is still 26 months, which is obviously bs, considering the fact that I could check the spreadsheet and see people update their timeline here from time to time. She doesnt want to check back for me to cic that i know for sure, because eversince i submitted my upfront medical, she has nothing to say but to just wait, if i knew that she's just gonna be as frustrating as this, i wouldnt have wasted my 5 grand on her.. definitely not worth it :(

It will remain in process until the end of your wait. They take a while to confirm. Mine been in process since January 2016 according to my gcms notes and my mycic still shows in process. Most I've talked to say it stays that way until they get decision made
