Apparently if you try the bare minimum required information, and just put in spaces for fields like 'City of Birth' you can find it.

As for the landing party... well... there was talk of one, but the organiser seems to have disappeared shortly after receiving the magical OWP in the mail box...

Call For Status..: 10-SEP-2015 - NO APP FOUND LOOK FOR Fee RECEIPT
Found Receipt...: 08-JAN-2016 - Still no app in system. REFILE SUGGESTED.
Prepare New Ap: Different requirements from 2010. In 2010 Meds were upfront. In 2015/2016 PCC was upfront. Requested PCC. Received PCC........took awhile to get finish new application. Since I am the only one who works......I work A LOT!!!!

Questions:

1) For the people with the plethora of knowledge and a best guesstimate, when do you think I would expect to see a OWP mysteriously appear in my mailbox? My husband has a close member of his family back home that is ill and I know he would love to go an visit her. I am really not super rushed because I need him to work, but I need him to be able to travel. Besides, I need a little sun and some drinks on a beach too.

2) Do you believe it everything was submitted in full, that it still may take up to 12 months as I filled before December 7th? I don't understand how someone who can apply later then my second application can possibly be processed first. To me that is just bad business.............and horrible luck on my part since I have been married over 7 years now and still have no final solution.

3) I am thinking of changing careers and the city that I currently live in (GTA, Ontario). I am hoping to have a plan in place to move to Gatineau, QC to live and work in Ottawa, ON in the next 6 to 12 months. I see that there are plenty of threads for QC and there seems to be a difference if you want to apply there.
a) Can I change companies mid application as a sponsor as long as financially I would still qualify?
b) Would you recommend that I wait until after the full application is finalized before I change where we live?
c) Do you think the application is impacted at all if we are planing on living in QC but working in Ontario?

Question 1: OWP will be received in approximately 4 months

Question 2: Profiler mentioned that it will be first in-first out or as close to this as possible. According to IRCC website apps processed before 7 Dec 2016 will be completed by 31 Dec 2017.

Question 3: Not sure about QC but IMHO I would wait it out until 31 Dec 2017/when he receives PR.

I feel like such a fraud even attempting this. Literally any day now. In fact, they should have issued it before today. If you call CIC's Call Centre, they can at least tell you that it was approved (and your partner can start looking for work!).

They state they are doing them first-in first-out. That means everyone before December 7 has to be processed before anyone on or after Dec 7 gets a chance.

3 - QC changes things because then you would need a CSQ. If you lived in, say, l'Ottawa, then it wouldn't change anything .
a) Sure, why not? You are exempt from low-income assessment anyway.
b) Yes, OR, try Ottawa until you're done the application process.
c) Not really. See 3, a, and b.
