Passport and the actual OWP, at least that's what we provided last Sunday. But we only visited the U.S.

I sent my application to CIC on 2nd December 2016, and it arrived there on the 5th of December. I received AOR on 4th January 2017. Wishing everyone the best of luck ;D

Sent my Permanent residence and Opw applications using the Old applications to Cic Missisauga on dec 14th 2016 and got Aor today jan 11th 2017. Medical and Police certificates upfront.

Hi Everyone,
I sent my application on Jan 12 and received Confirmation letter on Feb 25. I received Acknowledgement letter on Jun 10. On Jun 17 they requested police certificate, sent to them within two weeks but we have not heard anything since. Don't they normally request a medical after? Did not send medical with application. Been since Jul 17, have not heard anything. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated! Thanks

Firstly: relax, you must. Patience, a virtue, it is.

Re GCMS Notes: They will likely refuse the second request because there is already a request in. You should follow-up with an email to ask them what's up.

Re CIC Status: They are working on applications submitted before August 14, 2015. They have resumed their fast pace at clearing the backlog. If you watch the 2015 inland thread, you will see several announcements on (sometimes!) a daily basis.

That said, you have SA, and AIP. Really you can get health care, you can do almost anything (except work -- unless you have the permit). So, I know the process is long, but you will land soon enough. My guess: March. They have done most of the cases we know about for September, and given their current pace, they are seeming to clear up a month of backlog every 2 weeks. If they keep that up, then probably 6-8 wks you should get a DM. It's a big if though.

Do you think that after august 2015, they will start working on december 2015 since majority of the september-november 2015 is just about done based on the spreadsheet?? I was calculating march 2016 applicants to be done by august/september of this year but may be sooner,if they already done few of the months of 2015 sooner??

Your in December 2015 club too nothing much we can do I check ecase one in awhile last time I called was December 30,2016 and they are like we are back logged

If March 2016's were done in August, that would mean they would not meet their target ("promise") of having the 2016 backlog cleared by December 2017.

Their assertion is that cases are being processed first-in first-out. That would mean that cases being submitted today would be subjected to the same backlog -- at least by my logic...
