I am sure you will have something soon.

I guess I shouldn't have said ombudswoman, more like the Landing Party Whisper... but I digress...

I looked at the doc file and there's been no SA/AIP's since september. About time they give out more.

But if you could have a DM, would you give up your AIP?

When I initially checked my sponsorship application status on CIC, it showed me three lines as follows on the status under Sponsorship Application Status as follows:
1. We received your application to sponsor XXX on XXX
2. We started processing your application on XXX
3. We sent you correspondence on xxx

Now, when I check my application status online it only shows the first line and the other two got removed.
1. We received your application to sponsor XXX on XXX

What is the reason for this?

I don't work in Information Systems at either Shared Services Canada, or at IRCC....

That said, it has been coming and going on the sponsor side for the last few days. The pattern would say (and my professional opinion is) it's a failed bulk data upload/update. So lines are being dropped.

Of course lol As long as I can work.

My guess here is that you will probably find CIC deafeningly silent soon, then, just like magic, you'll land.

It's just a guess, and I don't think it will be long.

I hope so! It's hard waiting and waiting. Hopefully the news tomorrow morning is great like they say.

I won't hold my breath on that being spectacular. But the fact that I found out they plan to continue the same velocity through cases is awesome.

That said, I totally get your position. I do feel for you, but unfortunately, I cannot make any more noise. My wife is already concerned we will both be deported... :) Soon I am sure. Just hang in there!

I don't think they can deport you while you have an application in process. Part of the reason I had to submit mine asap when I was out of status;to prevent deportation. Your wife reminds me of myself though lol thinking the worst. Drives my boyfriend nuts. Oh well : :P :P

I don't think they can deport you if you were born here to multi-generational roots of Canadians either. But she is convinced I will be going first -- I am the trouble maker after all..

Yeah, even if CBSA started removal process against a person, if they had a PR application in play, they generally won't remove the person unless they have a real good reason to.

That said (and please don't take this as negative -- I am only trying to make you aware), there was a story from September. I don't know all the details, but here is the story:
http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/canada-deports-ukraine-family-with-mentally-ill-15-year-old-after-last-minute-appeals-fail .

That said, you'd know if CBSA was really interested in you. I don't think they are...

I have a clean record so I think I'm ok. It says they thought he had fraud charges back home. Regardless it's a very sad situation especially with the suicide attempts. I know how stressful and hard this can get and hopeless at times.

That one I think should have been stayed. That said, it was the failed refugee claim that caused the deportation I *think*. Because CBSA is to remove and issue exclusion orders on people who wasted resources on refugee claims that were found to be unfounded. So, I *think* that was the cause. *IF* it was, then yeah shouldn't be an issue.

Usually CBSA will also allow a deferral until CIC finishes processing. At least the only cases I have heard about it they do.
