I have no idea what you mean by line number, etc. The line numbers can be whatever (arbitrary, due to your specific case). Is this in ECAS? Can you paste (or PM) what you are seeing? (obviously remove anything identifying).

And no, I haven't quite left just yet. But ask again tomorrow..

Hang in there man. At least we're in the immigration class that never fails.

good morning profiler, and polar I know I am up early dog woke me up to go out. Ok line 2 means visa office which is cic etobicoke is working on our case means it's in proccess and line 3 is decision made which is not made as yet with medical results received all 5catogories in e case

@profiler and polar, on ecase cio Sydney on ease line 6 that is when a visa officer is proceesing your application when they actually put the application is egilabilty for processing and line 7 is decision made when it is not made as yet when they say medical results recieved. @polar our case which is my husband we are doing inland spousal sponsorship so basically it's on his side for permant residency and our journey started Dec 14,2015 and they started processing on Jan 14th, 2016 and got the pcc request in June 22,2016 we send it in July 19,2016 and they received July 25,2016 and profiler we are not in arbit ration cause his lawyer would tel us.

I am confused where in ECAS they would tell you that... more confusing CIO Sydney is for PR Card issuance and FWC.

For those keeping track, my wife and I have yet to see any movement at all. Still no GCMS PR case notes (and the MP's office is scheduled to call before Dec 2 to update me on our case -- they will be in for a surprise). I told those who were watching, that I would guess Nov 15. Dead wrong I guess (unless somehow we get a landing letter tonight). Here is what ECAS says:
Sponsorship Application:
1. We received your application to sponsor MS PROFILER on March 2, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 13, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on May 28, 2016.

PR Application:
1. We received MS PROFILER's application for permanent residence on March 2, 2016.
2. Medical results have been received.

myCIC is reporting case is Open, Meds Passed, BG Check still in progress, and no change to any of the other fields.

Given no movement, I guess the sample size is too small, and Linear Regression isn't quite enough. I have been looking at other methods to process the details, and it seems that a statistical algorithm known as "Exploratory Data Analysis" may prove to bear more fruit in identifying work patterns from CIC. They use this method heavily in data mining to identify patterns in chaotic data (eg: dating sites who have heavy investment in personality questionnaires -- think eHarmony and friends). Whether it would work or not, or if it's worth the time to invest to try to import (massage) the current sheet into a form that can be used by software is something I am considering, and whipping something up to perform the analysis. The neat thing about this method, is it's a learning method. With time, the error margin continues to reduce. Which means the predictions get better.

So that said, I'd open it up to the community. To see if anyone would feel there would be a benefit to such an investment. I have been teetering on this point for months now, as to whether that would be something of use to the community or not. There really only seems to be little interest (one or two more active posters).

If you mean the 85% I mentioned... that's the statistic for approvals. 85% of cases inland are approved.

Your RRSP contribution limit is defined by your income from the previous tax year (18% of your taxable income up to a certain limit which changes every year). So if you had taxable income in 2015, then there will be contribution room for your 2016 tax year. This information will be on your Notice of Assessment of you can find it in your CRA account. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/myaccount/

The balance carries forward, so as long as you have earned money in Canada prior to this tax year, there should be some contribution room.

I thought for rrsp you have to be a legal resident plus a sin with a 5 or 4
