What exactly do you mean by land ?
I have been in Toronto since 2014 , I came here on student visa and then had a work permit that was expiring Dec 2016.

Landing is when you get permanent resident status. You may have "arrived" in Toronto, but you have not "landed" just yet :).

Hi Guys,

This forum has been such a big part of the entire pr application process. I want to thank you all.
I received my OWP today until November 2018.
Cic received my pr app and OWP on August 2nd and I got my AOR 1 & 2 on the 22nd of August.
Waiting for the next steps to follow.
I'll keep you all posted and good luck to you all.

That's an impossible question with many variables:
- country of origin
- your background (including how many and which countries you have lived in or visited, etc, etc)
- evidence provided to the CIC.
- medical and RPRF paid (I hope you did these upfront :) )
- etc.

Your OWP arrived in about 3 months (and a bit). So that is right on time. Has there been other progress on your case?

Nope nothing other than Aor and OWP so far. Problem is even in ecas it just says application in process that's all.

If you don't have a lawyer or consultant, you can try myCIC: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp .

There is more details in there...
