What was your opinion GuyanaGirl?

The doc was pretty nice. Chatty, like he wanted to know about us -- like a couples dinner date. No bearing on the results, but definately a class act ;).

X- ray and bloodwork left much to be desired ;).

Well you still have to submit it, because it's more about history than current... use a channeler, they apparently are pretty fast..

He is not a citizen or green card holder in America (He was just on student visa status) so we weren't able to use a Channeler since they only do that for American citizens/green card holders :( So we had to go directly to the FBI. I just hope it won't take too long to process.

Apparently, for Japanese citizens, a police certificate isn't required immediately until there is a request from the CIC. But for the inland application, it says that it should be included...

Trying to cover all the bases.

???

So the theory (from the CIC process manuals...check IP-2, IP-8 and OP-8 for details) is that you should be able to submit later. There is a minimum that CPC-M has to accept an application and begin processing... PCC wasn't one of those critical components.....

His English level is rather good so he was able to fill out the applications in English!

I bugged him to make sure there is no time gaps in his residence/statuses ;)

His english doesn't matter... my wife has uni level english... IMM 5406 requires one in English or French and one in native. It's in the instructions at the top. They need both.
