stream-lined applications are being "farmed out" now to different offices to cut processing times, it could also be the speed of the processing office (traditionally Ottawa has been the fastest). That is the office I hope processes mine. Mississauga started with files on every VO's desk, the farmed out locations/new hires had clear desks, I could well believe all those that share my AOR dates are all being processed in the same office. (ie those filed on a certain date all go to X office, or those from the UK/US (traditionally a very straightforward app) go to Y office). If the recent flurry of activity is the bench mark then SA for my application is due in the next 3-4 weeks, and this is what I am waiting for, to get an idea if the recent wave was just a flash in the pan to appease the minister. On a side note my application sponsor/main applicant has not even started processing (3rd june 2016) so I'm not too hopeful.

Someone on this forum informed that even after SA the sponsorship section still always show "In process".

It would be good for someone who has received SA to advise us if sponsorship application section shows something different now.

Based on what you said I hope Ottawa processes mine too.

I hope you are right.

however it is strange that after the first wave of approvals (SA and AIP) in early July the 2016 forum is dead. I would rather see continuous processing instead of this campaign style..

I have received SA, and online it still shows In Process for that section. In fact, nothing has been updated lately, but we got letters via email stating that my husband has met all the requirements for sponsorship.

Hi All,

One request:
Those who already received your SA and AIP, can you kindly show us how your MyCIC look like?
Thanks in advance

Check out the spreadsheet, this fek87 character is going for the all-time inland record. Applied March 21, 2016 - Landing August 2, 2016. 4.4 months. Awesome stuff.

i would question the validity of that. there aren't any dates for AIP or decision made on his timeline. These generally come before a landing appointment date, no? if there is a landing date, it would be assumed the other information is available to add too. so what are those dates?

I really hope that this is the new standard! We are starting to act like a civilized country! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

4 months is still long but it is an acceptable processing time for a government service!

How to Link Application to My CIC Account See Below:

Enter UCI (principal applicant) and Last name (principal applicant)

Enter Passport Number # and date of issue and date of expiry of passport, place of issue of passport)

Enter Residence (Province and city)

Enter Number of people on the application. (this is you and your sponsor (2). if you have kids that is probably extra people)

THANKS BROWNING911
Tried but still no application.Am i to add my kids who are not in sponser?

I tried it without the passport info and instead just put city and country of birth. That section is either/or. Worked for me like that anyway; didn't work with the passport info.
