Special Canada Day ceremonies
To celebrate Canada Day 2017, we will be holding 55 special citizenship ceremonies across Canada. These ceremonies will welcome new citizens and highlight the rights and responsibilities of Canadian citizens. Presiding officials will emphasize our heritage as a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy.

Isnt that splendid!!!;)
Lovely!

That should read,
Special landed ceremonies for 2016 applicants. . . . . . . ONLY!!!!!!
ha ha ha
Oopsss:(
Just kidding, but give us something special for 150, we been waiting a long time (a couple of months)
I want to take my wife to one of those. They have one at Woodside Historic Site (it's a national park in Kitchener) on Canada Day I believe. Maybe I can take her. She might not appreciate the significance of such an event....until she sees it (and the joy on people's faces).

EDIT: There is actually 2 sites doing Citizenship ceremonies on Canada Day in Kitchener, and one in Guelph...

Received letter from mail today, June 26, 2017.

From CIC Winterpeg dated June 22, 2017

Landing interview on the 6th of July 2017.

Probably 2 in 1. AIP and Landing Letter because It's states that you PR application is been approved.

on July 6th 2017 it is exactly 1 year, 1 month, 21 days or 417 Days from the day CIC received my Inland application.

Thank you very much to all of you here, Profiler, Guyana, CanadianPR and others, you know who you are guys.
Thank you very much again. Good luck to all who's still waiting.

Told ya -- I knew it was a landing :).

Congrats buddy :). Sorry it wasn't on Canada Day -- but close enough!

Now, don't forget to print your receipt, and to get a new passport-sized photo taken so they can apply for your PR Card!

I didn't, but I know mail should only be used when the amount of docs is more than 4MB.

It will likely be 30 days from submission for them to acknowledge that they've been attached.

Great, the man with information . .
Thanks bro,
Was saying to the mrs earlier this morning
"The profiler has over 6000 posts on the forum"
Her response was " he does not work"
My response to he " sure he does" he is just not the typical canadian ha ha ha
My question to you is " where you access all the info you share"
 are you up looking for information while we sleep lol lol
Just messing with you bro.
Just my way of poking fun n saying thanks
In jamaica, when there are funerals, people bring all these flowers for the dead. . .
But before the person dies!!!
Not a penny most would spend
So i give my rose while the person can scent it.
Work time!!! You believe we might see an abundance of DM , AIP for canada day?

He is currently surrounded by fellow "employees" at "work". They may (or may not) agree that I "work". I am a software engineer, right. So, internet, web browsers, etc are always in supply.

He would like to think he is a typical Canadian. Those posts were racked up over a year. I do sleep, I do eat (sometimes). I have been known to even do house work, or cut my lawn! And spend time with my 4 (soon, 5) year old son :)

The information I share is largely an accumulation of: forum posts I have read, personal experience dealing with CIC (and other) government agencies, and, when all else fails, CIC's operations manual(s). For inlanders, most of the answers are in: Processing Manual for in Canada Spouse and Common Law Partners (IP-8). If that one doesn't have the answer, this one will: Processing Members of the Family Class (OP-2), and if all else fails, operational bulletins and common sense.

As to "just messing with me" -- this is a BAD idea.... because it might just come back to you, 10-fold ;). Maybe when someone has a case of the Monday's.....ON A FRIDAY :D.

And lastly, if it was up to me, there would be a torrent of AIP's and DM's between now and Canada Day. Think about the symbolism behind it. 100% I would do that. Maybe that's that's another "bottleneck" with Canada Day? They will release a tsunami of case approvals?
